The whole interview was a shambles. I didn't take my coat off because A) There was NOWHERE to sit and
He stood up the whole time and there was nowhere to put my coat, except on a pile of dust and wood shavings. It was quite intimidating really. I thought the interview went quite well considering, his message on FB said it was because he decided to take on one full time person rather than 2 PT people. I couldn't do FT with Keira, I could of done 30 hours at a push.
Ey ho, his loss
Mars planets or any chocolate is a good fix I find. Or a nice bag of crisps! At least it's passing now though, how many weeks are you now? I had hypermesis barfing until about 7 months pregnant. That wasn't very fun if I remember correctly.
Had any cravings? It was cat food I lusted after!0 -
Cat food? You're a classy bird
13 weeks yesterday... Craved satsumas quite a bit but that's calmed down now... More food aversions than food cravings... The thought of eating most things just turns my stomach...
Oh great, Aimee just found half a dead bird under the chair... Bloody cats!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Benjamin's cot isn't even on the lowest setting yethe rarely shows any inclination to even stand up...although sometimes I catch him looking out of the window!
*cue Benjamin learning to escape*
V has always been a little houdini though - she was standing up in her Antilop really early...Benjamin has never tried to escape his!
I think this is a girl think - Annabel can escape from her tripp trapp, but generally choses not too. Thankfully she knows the word stuck
RMAC. We gave up on sleeping bags a couple of weeks ago when she learned to do zips and remove them. We'll try the travel cot tomorrow, if that fails we'll look at little beds. You'd be suprised - Alice managed to climb out of her cot in a sleeping bag.
.
I have had similar problems with the sleeping bags - Annabel can take hers on and off and walks in them! But switching to a toddler sized one has helped a bit. It takes her much longer now and usually shes too tired to be bothered.........r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

What do you think?
Dear Sirs,
On 30 July 2010 I was interviewed by xxxxxx of xxxxxx for the position of xxxxxx Manager within your organisation. I have today been informed by xxxx that is unlikely that I will be put forward for interview for this position because of my lack of direct xxxxxx experience. I am extremely disappointed in this decision and as such I have decided to make this somewhat unorthodox approach to your company directly.
Whilst I appreciate that a lack of direct xxxxx experience may at first seem to preclude me from such a position I truly believe that I can offer your company a different, refreshing and unprejudiced approach to this position which will help your company to stand out from competitors. I live locally to your main offices and my research on your company [STRIKE]over the last two weeks [/STRIKE]has convinced me beyond doubt that xxxx offer an environment in which I could thrive and achieve excellent results for the benefit of the entire group.
Continue with a load of who I am, what I do type crap...
And to finish:
If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope that this application is received in the nature it is intended – as a firm indication of my desire to work for your company – and I would relish the opportunity to be able to speak to you directly about this position.
Yours faithfully,
MFD

Of course not - I appreciate your expert knowledge
Final question - I promise - attach the letter or paste it into the email?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
3 - good luck with the toddler bed, matress and bedding. I'm really hoping that we can last until christmas. I'm wanting to by-pass the toddler bed stage and go straight to a full-sized single bed. We have a drop-side cot, which having measured it againt some friends cot beds, has higher sides to it
I hadn't done that on purpose but feeling smug now
However, I see yours is just a cot as well, so perhaps V would be able to escape ours too!
We went to book bugs at the Edinburgh International bookfestival this morning - its what booksstart in scotland is being rebranded. It was a fun session of singing and stories but I had to take Annabel out half way through and give her a 'talking to' before returning. At least she seemed to take notice of what I said! Very embarassing at the time, but upon reflection it wasn't - more embarassing would have been not doing anything about itr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

MFD I'd move the bit about the recruitment people to the second paragraph - you run the risk of them not reading all the way down and replying with the recruitment agent details if it's at the end, but you might put them off if it's at the beginning.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
