NMS - Big yay for Liam walking :j

Gill, if you also have room for my pram in your car then I would be very interested :j

It should be fine Hammy - I've had 2 prams in the boot before but if not I'll just bring T's little pushchair. Where are you based?

It's a long journey so it will be good to have someone to travel with :)

SJ - she's got to be a Sophie! T can sqeak her himself if he gets hold of her neck right :) My DH :rotfl:when he found out how much I'd paid.....he said she looked like something from the pound shop :( He's since admitted that she is worth it after seeing T with her.

Can you believe I've had to wake T up at 8.10 this morning??!!! My auntie's at my mum's (with T's newcastle strip!) so we need to be there for 9. I'll finish catching up when we get back.

SS, I'm confused...was your contract ending in October or something? That's very cool you can take even over a year later!

It ends on the 31st October. The 31st's a Sunday, so my last day of work work is the 29th, which I will spend stripping my office :( Elternzeit beginning the 30th will cover me for seven calendar months from that day and will involve me receiving 2/3 of my paycheque, and the government will pay my health insurance too. Win win.

  • No day trip for me today lo still no poop didn't want want to leave her all day with formula so had to stay home while oh and dd go to flamingoland. Nice for them but it was free and i was really looking forward to it - feel really mad at oh as i sort out everything then he gets to be superdad and have all the fun and doesn't seem to care that i'm disappointed or upset. Just feeling sorry for myself and I'm stick of being stuck in the house this week due to horrible weather.

Hope everyone else has better plans for the weekend - weather is supposed to be better tomorrow I need some sun. Jealous of sugars cleaning as i can't be motivated today I wouldn't dare let oh go to supermarket alone - he would return with loads of junk we don't eat and !!!!!! all for dinners.

    morning all!!!

Had to deal with one wake up last night at 4am, then DH did the one at half 5.... I dont really know what it is with Landen, no matter what time the first wake up is 2am, 3am,4am, he will always then wake around half 5, and then never really settles back again....so from half 5 he's whingey and crying..... any advice?
I also think he's got a cold, theres a lot of snot up his nose, he sounds very nasal when he's breathing, and it wouldnt surprise me as DH is just on the tail end of one, and im starting to get one too.... even bought some high dose vitamin c yesterday to try and ward it off/lessen the blow...

Not got much planned today, really need to tidy/clean up especially the kitchen, looks like a takeaway exploded in there....

I need help planning some weight loss/dieting/healthier eating.... I've never dieted before, and I'm fine with exercising but its my eating habits which are getting me down.....What plans have other people been doing? Anything to avoid? Just general help appreciated :)

Hugs to all who need them xx

Sales - Have you though about trying the prune juice that was suggested?
Landen is now three days without poop, usually its 2 days but after 2 days it's always really painful for him.....

I know it's a bit different, but Finn used to go more than a week between poops and he was fine (BF though). I'd say as long as it's not bothering baby, then don't stress about it. If they're uncomfortable, then try one of the methods suggested.

  • One crabby babba in bed, one mummy in the bath. We had planned to get up and out somewhere this morning (no DSS - he has gone on hols with his mum :( ) but when hubby took Benjamin for breakfast at 7:30 I fell asleep until 10!!

Anyone fancy coming over to tidy my house? It looks like a baby hurricane hit it this morning!
