Rmac - I just get the paints and stuff out and let her get on with it, the trumpets were her idea, she loves watching Mr Maker on CBeebies so a lot of her ideas are her attempts at what he does.

The cooking stuff, I just involve her what I'm making for breakfast, lunch and tea the cakes and things are my attempt making healthier/cheaper snacks for her, she's more likely to eat them if she's had a hand in it and I love to bake

She's just as obsessed with sticking and glueing, bulk bought foam stickers to remove the need for glue.

I just watch what she's doing and respond to it - like last week she was trying to construct her own lacing cards so I got some for her.

Yay for your mum Krystal.

On the weekends, I've just been letting him drop off on me or actually napping with him in my bed so it made a change for him to go off on his own.

he slept for 2hrs so I've been trying to get the Jumperoo back in the box for storage but I can't get one of the toys out and it won't fit in the box :mad:

Also got rid of a load of boxes and got round to putting the Bumbo and Door bouncer back in boxes and in the garage.

Hammy - that pic of D is adorable.

Boots are doing the C&G and Heinz toddler meals for £1 and spend a fiver a get £5 off No.7. New mascara here as J has 'lost' 2 of mine!

I hope the ribena came out :eek:. We have had the rocker for a while now and have periodically brought it out but now is the first time that D is really able to sit on it steady and hold on. He loves it!

oh and I eventually got round to putting the blackout blind up and I did it slightly too narrow so it's not truly black out. :mad: It's the stupid windows fault

Will have to get some curtains I think

He had them last as he likes to play with it while I'm getting ready. Both have vanished off the face of the earth!

It depends on how she's feeling. If she's having a whingy day then its alot worse. It has gone down alot since using the Oilatum, Derma 500 & the steriod cream for when its bad.

She scratches it alot though, so im having to cut her nails really short

Does D have Eczema? I have a terrible memory so not to sure if you said he has.

Glam, we need to fit Lilys blackout blind too. But its way to big for the window. I dont trust myself to cut it down to the right size though :rotfl:

just read qucikly back.

wont be able to get to the monkey world i dont drive and FIL's car, if DH could borrow it wont take a car seat. have looked and its a train to stoke and then 2 buses.

we never managed to get a blackoutblind which fitted to make complete darkness so I hemmed some blackout fabric the size of the window frame and attached velcro to it. The other 'sticky' side of the velcro was stuck to the window frame, so that the blackout lining can go up and come down as necessary. the sticky velcro is easy to remove from the frame if you move house or no longer need it. Very mse - cost £3 in total to make, and black out lining doesn't have to be hemmed so easy if you are a non sewer. Plus it meant we could have the blinds we wanted, not worrying about whether they would shut out the light of not.
