    Well done Glam :)

I meant to say before that T and I can come to monkey place. I have room to give someone a lift too and have a spare car seat now as well. I live right near Trafford Centre so could pick someone up from there or from somewhere on the way.

Glam - Yay for work :j
    hello...
well my day was boring but ive now got 2 weeks off WOOHOO ... although my boss is ging to get a not so lovely email as there was a full time position in work, we werent told it was advertised and then hired his friend from another store without giving anyone a chance so im going to be emailing him telling him i know and that if he continues to be unfair in the way he acts i WILL be going above his head ..

Boo hiss for work but yay for 2 weeks off :j
CAFC - you have my sympathies over the dog, I have a greyhound with separation anxiety so can't really be left, she even barks if I'm upstairs to long.

Awww, cute - sounds just like my David :rotfl:

Gill, if you also have room for my pram in your car then I would be very interested :j

We only had 1 wake up here last night :j:j:j:j:j:j It was possibly because tooth 3 is more of less through but I am not getting my hopes up - it was more likely to be sheer exhaustion and normal service will resume tonight :rotfl:

We came downstairs to discover our little puddy cat has left us a sparrow as a present :(

    Hiya Hammy!

A bit disruptive here last night, not sure why. Might have something to do with the absolutely revolting nappies we were having yesterday.

Som, don't worry about Tahlie already being a certain weight with getting a mei tei. You can wear a LO in a sling/wrap well into their toddler-hood (like some of the websites refer to 3 years old). You will still get plenty of use out of it if you want to!! I have a mei tei and a wrap sling...as do lots of people (boo & Jenny come to mind as other sling people, but I know there's lots more!!), so feel free to ask questions.

Must go to the post office this morning, so hoping the rain holds. Need to wrap up & label a bunch of eBay parcels as soon as Finn goes for his nap later...

Congratulations Krystal on the healthy, cheeky non-puppy-or-SIL in your tummy! (On a related note doesn't your SIL have a lot of siblings?!)

Looks like you all had fun at the meet! Lovely photos.
SarahJoanne, I hope your cake is magnificent and that your client appreciates how lucky they are. I hope I get to meet you and your little one again.

Thanks, I quite liked it actually, was a 2 tiered chocolate cake with stripes on it! And I will PM you :A

Meant to say....looks like Sophie is a success! My Mum held her out to T yesterday and he looked at her and started crying. The he reached his hand out and my Mum moved her over to him and he took and then held onto her most of the afternoon! He can get her face into his mouth and knaw on it....it looks so cruel lol I was very excited as it's the first time he's done anything like that!

Sophie has arrived here also and is a big hit. Almost fell out with DH though as he wanted to call "him" Gerry :p

Is the Monkey Forest too far for people to travel if we were to meet at the end of September?

It is M6 J15 - about 40 mins south of Warrington (or so LOL!)

I can get there. Were you talking about the 29th? (I've only really skimmed through the last 3 days) If so, I can do that day :)
    Hello!!

Does anyone here use a mei tai sling? Seen one on ebay but not sure if it's a bit late now to get one to use with T as he is over 21 Lbs.

    Xx

Hi :) I have a mei tai too, I really like it.

No major news here. I went out last night for my cousin's 18th. Well I only stayed til about 10pm then got a lift home. Was nice to get out just for a bit though. Alfie stayed at mum's last night so I'm currently baby-free!

Went out Thursday with Dh to Michael McIntyre but we didn't get in with our stand by tickets :( I was gutted but we went for dinner and I'm supposed to be getting an email with a priority ticket for another show. I just hope it's for somewhere not too far away and also not a Fri or Sat night as DH can't afford any time off at the moment.

Som I keep forgetting to get my book back from my mum but will try and remember when I go to get Alfie this morning!

Aless - you have your Ts muddled it was boo that was asking about slings for her T :D I already use a Calin Bleu wrap :D But like am wanting a Joey like Glams, tho after purchasing pushchair no2 am not sure I'll get it :(

Hammy - lovely pic :D we have a rocker almost the same as that, when did you start using it with D?

I think we have been co sleeping a little too much here as T sleeps fine in our bed but is a bu99er if I move her pack to her cot! I dont think she likes her cold mattress and prefers our bed cos it smells like us. Anyhoo, am up early than I wanted today as twonk of an OH left a full glass of ribena on the window sill and me being a clutz managed to knock it off and it went every where, take into consideration our bed is under the window!

Am I going mad again?! Sorry Som! Well for whoever was asking about mei teis, then I know that you can wear them for pretty much as long as the toddler will tolerate being worn! :p

Speaking of eBay...how are others getting on? Sami? I'm pleased that all but 1 item sold...need to do a money tally. It won't be a lot as they were all low-value items but some of the baby clothes went for way more than expected! (I usually expect 99p)

I can't make the meet but would love to go to Monkey World :(

Som, what if you put her down in your bed on a blanket that smells like you, and transfer her to the cot once she's asleep? It doesn't work for us but someone recommended it so it might work for you?

Everyone's had scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast here, lovingly made by Husband. Who has now gone off to the supermarket because it gets crowded and unpleasant later on. I have a long-ish list of stuff to do, another busy day ahead of us.

In :money: news, it looks as if I might be able to take the seven months' of maternity leave that I didn't take after Molly was born. She was born in August, I had eight weeks of compulsory leave followed by three months of mat leave. Husband took two months of my mat leave (in Germany you can divide it up how you want) which means that I have seven of twelve months remaining - if I go back onto mat pay from the 30th October I don't have to miss any days of work BUT still get the mat pay :j

SS, I'm confused...was your contract ending in October or something? That's very cool you can take even over a year later!
