Peace :) DP got in from work, had a few minutes playtime with Thomas and now they are both asleep!

Thinking of a weekend to get away from everything and thinking camping would be a bit of a plan - anyone any experience of camping with a little one? It can't be that hard can it?!

Wow Kindof, I can't believe E already has a tooth, bless him! Was he ok when it was coming through? Equally wow at him being in 6-9 clothes! Is he really tall? Guy is 99.6th centile for height and somewhere around 50th for weight, tall and thin, not like his mum :p

Haha MFD sounds like a typical conversation with my other half!! :money: :j for the pushchair, I've just seen the same one go on our local netmums but used for £150!

Muso - Guy has been in 3-6 since pretty much bang on 3 months, though can still wear a lot of his 3-6 t-shirts, it's the length that's his problem. Lovely pics of H :)

Kindof - our Home Bargains had babybanz for a bit, if you have one nearby it's worth checking out, they were only £2.99.

Som did you switch T's nappies cos they were too small? I know it sounds a silly Q but Guy is still in size 2's at 16lb 6 as I think they still fit, but not sure how to tell if they're too small!?

Just been to Mothercare as they sent me the wrong car seat, and whilst there saw the Stokke...ooh it's lovely, I want I want I want.
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

Loving all the piccys that have been posted

Fingers crossed for ya Susan :D

Just made a big pot of lentil soup, got black beans soaking to be made into quesildias and just made falafel. I'm super skint so having to use what I have in the house for a change :rotfl: I'm going to be trumping like a trooper!

Can't believe Keira is back to nursery next week. Doesn't seem like it's been 5 weeks!

I decided for that interview tomorrow I'm just going to wear what I'm comfortable in, I feel naff dressing smart because that's just not me, and shirts give me bad b.o! I'll just wear a nice dress, a flowery one or something, and heels. That'll do!

How old were your babies when they moved into 3-6 months clothes?

H is the only baby in my mum and baby group who's still in 0-3 and they're all the same age. We can still squeeze her into large newborn stuff too!

Andrew is progressing up to his 3-6m clothing for his first birthday next week :D (but he's hardly an average baby!)

Loving the pictures on here today!

Som- I love the look of the Mura. Not seen one before.

Buttons- I am also on a food use up mission at the moment. It just takes a bit of effort though, something which I can't always be bothered with by teatime!

:rotfl: @ MFD's conversation with MFSIL!

We've mostly changed clothes sizes at the 'right' time. Newborn lasted about a fortnight, 0-3 till 3 months, 3-6 until around 5 or 6 months and we are still in mostly 6-9 months (at nearly 9 months) although we've moved on to 9-12 month sleepsuits. To be fair though I probably do tend to shop at the shops that I know are more generous with their sizes because I know that H is quite a tall baby.

Is £80 mega cheap for a second hand Phil and Ted's with toddler seat? There's one on my local net mums and I am so tempted.

Car is still in the garage which doesn't sound cheap. Hoping to get it back tomorrow morning as I hate not having a car

Gym - she could have stayed in size 2 pampers for a while longer as they come up big than the nature care ones we normally as they were cutting into her thighs :(

Aless -yeay for Finns second tooth.

Kindof - can you see or feel Elliot's 2 nd tooth? Tahlie has a 3rd trying to come up top I think cos it feels hard but I can't get to it to see!

I reckon so! My friend got one new and it was £500+ by the time she finished! It's bloomin' heavy though, even with one in it, dread to think what it'd be like with 2 in!
  • Thanks everyone! I've got quite a bit of 3-6 month stuff in storage. All her 0-3 stuff is pretty much summery and I'm loathed to buy warmer stuff in 0-3 if she's going to suddenly have a spurt!

Think she's possibly having a spurt at the mo as we've gone from sleeping through the night for 3 weeks straight (10.30ish to 6.30ish), to suddenly this week waking up starving at 5am. I wouldn't mind so much if she woke me up at say 1 or 2 cos there's still plenty of time left to sleep after but when she wakes up at 5 I then only have half an hour to go back to sleep after she's fed before DH gets up for work! Mind you, I know how lucky I am compared to some of you.

I got a 2nd hand Petite Star Zia that I bought on Ebay yesterday, instead of our Hauck travel system which has been a nightmare. I'm loving how easy it is to steer but the only trouble I've had is that when she's in it (reclined) I can't put anything in the shopping basket and the pushchair feels too light to hang bags on handles, so I had to carry heavy shopping and try to push in a straight line at the same time! Does anybody have any shopping carrying tips for me?
