My auntie always let my cousins run naked in the garden in the summer, that was when she did their potty training cos it was mess and laundry free :rotfl: :rotfl:

While its been hot S has only been wearing a nappy in the house and at the CM's too, athough he is dressed if he goes in the garden because it keeps the sun off his skin. I would be in the camp of being worried about who would be around if he was naked in public though, rather than thinking of it as being improper.

My family have come to visit from Kent this week and I've made them my legendary chocolate cake :j its sitting in my kitchen waiting to be eaten, but if I cut a slice I wont be able to get it back in the tin and transport it round to my nans where they are staying
I've also got a loaf of homemade bread baking away and am feeling rather domesticated. Although we did have a slightly less domesticated Maccy Ds for lunch, so perhaps not :rotfl:

afternoon everyone, only me, taking things slowly atm, hv nearly had me down for a pnd group yesterday.

I am a bad mummy - Thomas is walking along holding onto the tv table and when he runs out of table or turns round to look at me he takes one hand off and falls down, he's done this about 5 times in a row now, I can't help but laugh! He followed me round the other day while I sticking the sticky safety corner bumper things on the other day and pulled them all off, oh well, I tried!!

Bicycle child seats question if anyone can help - all the seats I've looked at say from 9kg, Thomas is small (between 2nd & 9th percentiles on both weight and height, 8 months next week and weighed 7.4kg yesterday) but I really want to start going out for bike rides again, has anyone come across a seat for smaller than 9kg?? Not to mention small helmets!

Ooh, where on the Island are you off to?

We went to this farm last week and it was fab. We're over there for a wedding this weekend as well.

We are staying at a caravan park in Yarmouth, my sister is coming with her 2 kids and they are staying in their trailer tent. Have decided that we are going to try to visit things that are more specific to the IOW than general places we could visit anywhere so definately going to IOW steam railway - cos of tube trains etc, Needles, Dinosaur Isle and maybe one of the chines. but thats looks good for indoors if weather is bad?

Paid for a couple of them with CC so been very :money: My sister suggested the Garlic farm as its very :money:...its free! And of course will be going to the beach as well
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

I wouldn't let Molly run about in the nudey buff, but I'm more worried about the sun than hypothetical perverts and propriety :) Lots of kids do it here at the kiddie pools, it's just a normal sort of event, but I've sunburned my butt before and would hate it to happen to Molly...

Katie doesn't care about whether the sun is out or not, bare is best for her - but if the sun is really strong I zip her into a sun suit, which is as good as bare for her.

Katie is watching Might Mites on CBeebies and is joining in, it's so cute - it's ballet today.

I wouldn't let my girls run naked outside when they were younger for many of the reasons stated and naturally I wouldn't let them run anywhere naked now.

To borrow Susan's quote - "It's not what I choose for my child but it's up to other people if they want to do it."

ETA - Morning sickness isn't literal in it's timing is it? It can happen any time of day (although we are talking 2.30am)
