Oh thats right they were £5.. so confused with the different offers that have been on recently.. some posted about a deal in Tescos for 3 packs of Pampers wipes and doubling CC vouchers but have never seen them before and would prefer to use my CC for days out - using about £20 worth to pay for some days out on IOW in a couple of weeks with my sister

Just been listening to this while I was eating my lunch... thought it was sad as well.

Ooh, where on the Island are you off to?

We went to this farm last week and it was fab. We're over there for a wedding this weekend as well.

I thought the saddest one was the mans email read out at the end who said he wouldn't even let his child run naked in his own garden :(

I will admit to not having had Benjamin out in the garden naked yet and we prob won't let him on holiday because of the sun - I just find the whole premise of there always being a 'threat' to our kids very, very sad.

Krystal is my fave person of the moment :T:T she has found the M&P 03 Sport for £98 in the Argos Clearance Warehouse place in Walsall. £14 more than I was going to pay but I had my heart set on that buggy. Hubby is going to pick one up this afternoon :D

Are there any horror stories about the M&P 03 Sport that I need to know about before about 4pm?

After 4pm keep em to yourself please

  • I like the 03 Sport, MFD. We nearly bought one before we had H, but decided to get a travel system we could use with our carseat in the end. I think it's a nice pram and £98 is a bargain!

If Katie wants to be in the nudey buff she will be, she does it even more now that she can take her own clothes off.

When we went on the beach on holiday this year, I didn't take anything with us as it was all still packed in the car, so once she got all sandy I stripped her off, rinsed her off with sea water, then she walked back to the car in just her top.

MFD - :j:j:j for bargain buggy

    Susan - fingers crossed.

Eww at slugs. We got our kitchen from B&Q wasn't a cheapy though as we had to do some building work to alter the layout (£7K including fitting and appliances)

Scones are a success - Katie loved tickling the flour (rubbing in the butter)

Just dough balls to make to accompany tea tonight.

Charlie is known around here for his nakedness, he prefers to be naked and most of the time i leave him to it. If he has a tantrum the first thing he does is to start taking his clothes off lol!

3 please dont hate me but i am now getting the purple stokke after a huge argument yet again with Kiddicare?? They have changed the date 3 times now and cannot tell me when delivery will be. They have purple in stock so im hoping it arrives tomorrow! fingers crossed:D

Maybe it depends on how you've been raised yourself but the idea of letting Alice run naked in the garden had never entered my head. I think as a child I did once see someone with a small child naked at a beach but other than that I've not come across children going naked in public. I wouldn't let Alice go naked in public because I would consider it improper rather than because I am worried about what kind of person is around. (But I wouldn't be specifically thinking really badly of people who did allow their child to do so - it goes in the category of "It's not what I choose for my child but it's up to other people if they want to do it.")

SC - I did it as a child as I can't bear being in wet clothes so I'd go in the sea, then as soon as I came out I would strip off to walk back up the beach! Mum had to have a constant supply of dry stuff for me - this wasn't even abroad it was North Wales I must have been mad.
