What do people think, can you see this picture working printed on canvas, maybe 20"x16" or so? On computer you have to zoom in and out to get the effect so I think it's not that great but in the real world it might work better.

I really wanted canvas but couldn't decide on which pics. In the end we bought really big frames from Ikea for the wall and have photos enlarged every few months and swap .

Bruno - def phone mat unit. When I was in hospital after my waters broke there was a girl who was 22 wks who'd been sent over from a & e. They told her that after 20 weeks she should have rung them direct and could have bipassed a & e

Bruno. Maternity unit. A&E won't help. Hope she just has a bug.

I had a baby gate between livingroom and kitchen with the boys but none at the moment. Will get one though. My cooker is just too accessible to tiny persons and amber is wild. Never used them fir the stairs but we have two land gs, the stairs turn. Sonot far to fall lol.

Thanks for the advice ladies - I didn't mention that actually before we did NHS Direct I had called the mat unit number we'd been given 4 times and it had always rung out

Waiting for OH to wake up and decide how she's feeling this morning. We have about 15 people arriving for BBQ between 12 and 1...!

Ours are called Stanley, Oscar, Boris, Araminta, Pixie, Miley and Montana. Not as unusual as yours and made as simple for the girls as possible as they were obviously younger when we got some of the cats. Miley and Montana we've had for 2 years and were named by the twins :eek: (also have a daughter called Hannah, but Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus wasn't known then so just a coincidence!) and Boris we've had for 3 months. Cats all have seperate personalities, so you can't mix them up. And no, it's not 1 cat per child, it's just the way it's turned out at the moment and no-one has a particular cat, they are all 'shared' so to speak.

The fur can be annoying, but we have 7 little helpers with that

Pains in the bum half the time are cats, but the rest of the time they are lovely. Always give in too their little faces don't you?

Some flats near us have the top level as maisonettes, but the area is still known as xxxxxx flats. One of lifes strangeties

SM My first boyfriend lived in a maisonette, and he had a door from his bedroom, out onto the landing of the block. Very handy for sneaking girlfriends in and out without his Mum noticing.

Tried that, but no, both are up and both are down. I often wondered why those whose rooms are on one side would go up the other stairs, but the girls tell me it's the same distance as if they took the other stairs they'd have to walk to the other side of the house anyway, only downstairs instead of up. They have a point.

Do I take it you were sneaked in and out?

On the subject of stairgates - I used to be lazy and climb over them, rather than open them to walk through. At least until the day I misjudged and nearly was unable to 'provide' again.

I climb over our stair gate as well. I was very much in the 'I'll see what I need' and was OK with just the one at the top of the stairs but he loved climbing the stairs too much and then trying to turn around and sit on air :eek:

He slept well last night woke at 4am sand was a bit whingey so gave him a small bottle & he went back to sleeo in his cot until 7am :j
first time all week he's not ended up in with us - tooth looks like its all the way through now. I cannot handle this with every tooth though - its been horrendous.
