They may have had some of them but I couldn't be sure. it doesn't look like a 'proper gate' iykwim lol. Would be too big for mine still :(

Right I'm off to spend some quality time with DH and watch the next episode of 24. (just bought series 1-4 box set) See you all tomorrow!

The baby prison is for the new baby, there's no way I'd get Caitlyn in there!!! She's well and truely free range... As soon as the buggy stops she's fidgeting to climb out...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Bruno i would get OH to call the maternity hospital and talk through with someone there, at least they will have an idea rather than sitting in a hosp where they dont have a clue(my experience of this!). they could even make an app for her to see someonw in the morning or have someone come out and check her over.
Is she eating/drinking enough as i know i feel sick and awful if i have went any period of time without food.

The big village festival has started here and i would love to be at the village party at the end of the road but cannot get a babysitter :( there is a lot of fun and activities planned for the week so it should be a lot of fun! there are kart races, a huge foam fight in the park and a walk to the local deer farm for venison sausages!!!(theres a lot more but i cant remember :D)

I also dont have stairgates as Charlie pulls them down, the kids have been taught to come down them backwards, they dont really go upstairs through the day more later when the bigger ones are home.

    Hi Caz How are you?

Bruno I agree - i'd phone the maternity unit and not A&E. Thats assuming it works the same in your area? Here, once you're pregnant, you bypass A&E. (Which is handy on a Friday night!)

All you fancy-livin' types with stairs!

What do people think, can you see this picture working printed on canvas, maybe 20"x16" or so? On computer you have to zoom in and out to get the effect so I think it's not that great but in the real world it might work better.

    Fab pic :D

I really wanted canvas but couldn't decide on which pics. In the end we bought really big frames from Ikea for the wall and have photos enlarged every few months and swap :).

Bruno - def phone mat unit. When I was in hospital after my waters broke there was a girl who was 22 wks who'd been sent over from a & e. They told her that after 20 weeks she should have rung them direct and could have bipassed a & e

Bruno. Maternity unit. A&E won't help. Hope she just has a bug.

I had a baby gate between livingroom and kitchen with the boys but none at the moment. Will get one though. My cooker is just too accessible to tiny persons and amber is wild. Never used them fir the stairs but we have two land gs, the stairs turn. Sonot far to fall lol.

Thanks for the advice ladies - I didn't mention that actually before we did NHS Direct I had called the mat unit number we'd been given 4 times and it had always rung out :/

Waiting for OH to wake up and decide how she's feeling this morning. We have about 15 people arriving for BBQ between 12 and 1...!
