Morning
Hubby has taken Elliots car seat out of the car this morning as it's going into the garage, Elliot loves his seat so much he's sitting in it in the living room with his cup of milk and blanket!
He is daft.
The weather's looking rubbish here, so no trip to the park todayOh well, I'll have a walk with my big rain coat on looking rather silly lol. It's ok for Elliot in his puschair nice and dry under the raincover!

I've had a bit of a read back, but my brain is like a sieve at the mo. I know there were loads of cutie pictures. Especially baby Pigpen. congratulations pigpen!

When I started reading your post, MFD, I thought you were going to say that you didn't have to go to work today but had forgotten!
Well I have woked up with mega-pain in my shoulder and neck. I have no idea how I am going to look after a mobile 8 month old on my own all day- in fact the thought of it makes me cry. But OH has the last day of a three week course today and said he can't miss it . Facebook tells me they are going for a cooked breakfast and then cleaning the cars . I know he doesn't want to miss it, but I am a bit peed off.
Hugs to those who've had bad nights. I hope you manage a nap today!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
If you won't need it for a while (?) you can have my door bouncer at the next manc meet, barely used it , can't see me ever using it for any subsequent babies
m/brook hasn't got the gates this time, i got mine there for Chris but since they started putting the promo stuff at the front of store they don't seem to have as much.
Tesco have some baby bits on cheapness atm but all i can remember is the little food pots are £1:o
Thanks for the offer - tbh I could do with one now to do him until he's big enough for a jumperoo, but if I can't find a cheap one then he can do without until I see you :j
MFD - LOL and *hugs* at getting up an hour early
Chopsticks - Becles has been posting recently but it was her bday 2 days ago so I think she's maybe had a hectic couple of days
Keely - Elliott sounds very cute sitting in his chair.
SJ - (or anyone else who knows) Did you find out what was the cause of Alfie's green poo? Thomas's was very green yesterday morning then he appeared to have diawoowoo all day. I think we changed about 8 dirty nappies! Had to change him twice overnight too which is unheard of! It gradually got more normal coloured all day, then when DH changed his nappy 1st thing it was very green again. He seems very well and happy in himself, even his teething isn;t bothering him too much. He had a bottle of expressed milk day before yesterday and I'm wondering if it was connected to that.
I think we're going to go to Ikea this morning to get T's highchair. He keeps whinging when we're having T then is fine when DH brings him up to the table with us and sits him on his knee so I think he might like to sit in his high chair and play with some toys. I'll be passing a couple of Asdas on the way (ish) as well lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
I just got some cheap nappies too :j:j:j
Our asda never reduces things, I rang earlier and they said they hadnt but I went and looked this evening and they had! I got 4 mega boxes of huggies for £5.50 each and 4 boxes of johnsons wipes for £2.50 each - I hate those wipes but at that price I'll hold my nose and get on with it :rotfl::rotfl:
OH is day off tomorrow and I am at work, and he plans to make a fort with all the boxes...!
I went last night and got 2 MEGA boxes of Pampers 5's for £6, went back this morning and they had all gone so picked up 3 boxes of Huggies 5's instead for £5.50! I am a Pampers snob but for the price I'll convert for a little bit!
The 5's are probably too big as he's only just gone into 4+ but we'll get use out of them eventually.
not had chance to catch up so hope everyone's OK.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

We are very jealous of haircuts! Can we have before and after pictures please?
We actually had a lovely time this morning with an hour to just play together (hubby was away last night so it was just the 2 of us). Benjamin helped me to change the bed which was tons of fun - especially running from one end of the bed to the other and bouncing on it when it was unmade
Also had a chance to stay for a while at the CM's. She was saying that Benjamin has started getting his changing mat when he has done a poo and if he hasn't done a poo and she changes his nappy he says 'No Poopies' :T:T:T
Gill - green poop can be a sign that baby isn't eating enough but can also be a sign of a little bit of a tummy bug. It could possibly be that the bottle was turned a little but it could just be one of those things. Make sure he is still getting lots of feeds, especially if it is going straight through him, and hopefully it will pass. If it carries on for a few days then it might be worth seeing someone. I think this is one of the points where 'you know your baby best' comes inyou will know yourself if he is poorly.
please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
MFD :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and maybe some bananas to poke chocolate buttons in, wrap in foil and put in with the coals.
Or for the grown-ups, inject some bananas with cointreau then stick them on the barbie til the skins go black, then serve with icecream. V does that too when the car seat is inside for whatever reason! Strange child.ladybirdintheuk wrote: »I've had a bit of a read back, but my brain is like a sieve at the mo.
Did you see the post from Bruno after they got back from the scan? Or was that before you went awol?
No plans for us today - L wants to go to the playscheme again, and I might get the next pile of stuff out to ebay.
I had a search last night (Asda/Tesco/Sainsbury) for school stuff. Struggled to find trousers in age 13/14 so I might have to go real-life shopping.
I was also looking for 18-24 babygrows and couldn't find any. (Except £15 for three at Mothercare). Does anyone have any cheaper ideas? I know I could get pjyamas but babygrows are so cute.
Why does my daughter insist on putting her hands in whatever she's eating, and rubbing it into her hair.:beer:0 -
MFD - thanks for the info. He was struggling to eat earlier in the week as it was too painful but he has been fine
for the last three days so I guess it could be that but my money is on the slightly turned milk. I'll definitely keep an eye on it and up his feeds a bit.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
