Well done for E having 2 naps in cot today kindof!!

Thanks :) I just had a panic on lol E went to bed at 7.50pm and he just woke up a min ago and I am sitting here thinking noooooo dont be thinking your bed is just for sleeping in for 45 mins lol, I gave him his dummy back and I think he's gone back to sleep

I am wondering if he is waking in the night for attention now? cos he did 4 nights in a row of just waking at midnight then not again till 7am, whereas the last 3 nights he's been up at 10, 2 and 6, so I was thinking maybe if he wakes at 10 to try and give him his dummy back first rather than going straight for the bottle? I mean its fair enough if he wakes a midnight, cos I dont think he is ready to go all night without a bottle, argh I dont know what to do lol

If it's any consolation kindof I still don't know what to do either!! It's only been a recent thing in this house that we are actually able to settle T without feeding which made me wonder if we could have been doing this weeks ago but we didn't try. I used to immediately feed him!!

Now I play it by ear and try to settle him in the night but if he is proper crying and won't respond to me flicking the glowworm on then I tend to feed him, as it seems if he is gonna settle then he quietens down quite quickly and keeps shutting his eyes, even though he fights it for a little bit. Well either that will have helped or confused u even more har har!!

PS T also woke up about 15 mins ago and he settled back down too, I just assume it's where he stirs during his sleep cycles, I wouldn't think it's cos he thinks he's only having a nap, as surely they are much more tired and want to go back to sleep. See, more confusing waffle based on nothing!!

    Evening all..

Aless, I'm usually always lurking, just not feeling the need to chip in all the time :o:)
.. Phew, I was beginning to wonder if I'd offended people somehow and that's why most of the regulars weren't on last night :o How's fabulous Rhys doing?
He's.. fabulous, thank you :D Just watched him scoff half of OH's tea, then wolf down his own and then they shared the remains (about half) of a big pot of yoghurt and half a punnet of strawberries. Hollow legs, I swear!

dt, great news on the childminder :D Do you have birthday plans? ;)

*hugs* for tia :( Sorry holiday was pants! Yay on talking and stairs tho :D (Btw, did you see vid of Rhys crawling? Cracked it now - boo yeah to the physio! ;))

*hugs* and :j for Button.. well done on the job interview. Am pleased things are moving on for you, but very crappy behaviour from Idris

How are spotty Henry and David now? Improving, I hope! :)

Hope everyone else is okay :) xx

This also made me actually LOL (but it is easier when hubby isn't around to ask questions ;)) - have you read the description for those shoes? 'I only wore them for 10m because one shoe is longer than the other' :rotfl::rotfl:

I skimmed over the description tbh as i could see it wasn't very clearly written (and I don't need to buy them anyway as I already have them lol) But just went back now and laughed a lot. MIL and DH laughed actually-out-loud too ;)

Gill - the baby gates were half price in my local.

Jam - Hyde had loads of gates and I got some nappies, so I may not need to go to Ashton - but I probably still will :p

Elle, sounds just like my 2, sure they have hollow legs too:rotfl:

Henry is fine, they werent chickenpox after all but gnat bites I think instead. William came home with spots on Monday as well but they have stayed the same size and are under the skin - more like blood spots..just a very cautious nursery I guess!!!

I just got some cheap nappies too :j:j:j

Our asda never reduces things, I rang earlier and they said they hadnt but I went and looked this evening and they had! I got 4 mega boxes of huggies for £5.50 each and 4 boxes of johnsons wipes for £2.50 each - I hate those wipes but at that price I'll hold my nose and get on with it :rotfl::rotfl:

OH is day off tomorrow and I am at work, and he plans to make a fort with all the boxes...!
