MOTM, it was definitely more than a week before I heard from the MW...just remember the NHS aren't too speedy so you have to give them time to get everything processed. You could chase, but I doubt it would do any good beyond, "the referral has been sent, they will be in touch". :o

(MOTM, you weren't personally invited because meets are open invitations...anyone who wants to come is welcome, regular poster or not!)

Will chase them anyway as it's only a phone call. Give them a couple of days so it's at least a week since we went to GP.

Oh right, I thought they were like mummy meetings. No idea what happens in a meet. As Mazcabs says, i'm an honorary mum on here :rotfl:

Beautiful dress SJ, but SS please stop linking to shoes that I really, really need but can't afford. :(

My new Stokke covers have come this morning, and are on already. It looks fab, like a brand new Stokke.
Question for MFD & SS are your raincovers plain clear, or do they have a bit of colour on? My green one is half clear/half green. This new one is all clear - I was wondering if it was from a newer/older model?

Sorry :o It's like shoe shopping without actually spending the money for me but I will sit on my fingers from now on.

I didn't mean that to sound as rude as it does.

My raincover is half beige and half clear.
My husband doesn't really 'mix well with people' (outside of the family, obviously)! He hates socialising and is reluctant to mix, even with people we know quite well. Ironically, he works with computers

My husband is exactly the same way. He's ok about forums and meeting people and has been known to go to social events himself based on forums - but isn't a mixing sort of person at all and can come across very abrasive and obnoxious until you get past his initial defences.

Some have explained, and Red thank-you, and yes I hope some do feel bad as I know about the 'pm' messaging that goes on and am very umcomfortable with it. The majority of people are lovely and need not feel bad at all but this thread has got clicky and it's made worse by some, they can feel as bad as they like but they won't. The nasty remarks that get messaged behind the scenes are not nice and quite frankly I'm way too old for it.

It is with tears that I say my goodbyes, you've been amazing and got me through some terrible times, and some very happy ones. SM gets a hard time on here and is ignored by many, I don't always agree with her choices but have always talked to her about it. I'm absolutely sure others don't agree with mine but why should they, they're mine to make. I may post occasionally but don't think it fair to just come on and not keep up to date with others. I have read this thread almost every day for abouth 18mths now so will miss some of you very much. Too upset to type now...

I have no idea what is going on and am not sure I want to know. I've not talked about the meet because I live in a different country and it always makes me feel a bit :o and :( that you all get to meet and I can barely manage a Starbucks with a couple of people on a flying visit to the UK. But if you're unhappy about something I wish you'd said something before deciding to leave, and I wish you all the best with your old relationship/new lovely marriage and your brood of lovely kids.

I forgot my news! I took the Stokke to be sent away for repairs today, I called and they said the Stokke loaner was reserved but I could choose another and they'd have it for me tomorrow. It turns out that Husband reserved us the Stokke loaner so I just transferred my textiles over and we have a borrowed Stokke that is almost identical to our own one, only not broken and all the manipulatable bits are white instead of grey :j

Advice needed again! Erin has stopped eating, there is no real reason why and she will eat sweet things if allowed and is drinking plenty. she is definatly not going waste away anytime soon so im not making a big deal out of it just not sure what to do?

Do you think it might be teeth? Is she still having milk?

Benjamin went through a spate of not eating last week when his teeth were coming through. I gave him mainly yoghurt and rice pudding and bananas and tried to give him a little more milk.

I wouldn't worry for a day or two as long as she is drinking. I wouldn't go overboard on the sweet things either or she may decide that is all she is going to eat long-term. xx

Thanks MOTM all good reasons :) That coupled with being extremely busy! Am I right in thinking congratulations are in order from my very brief skim?

Hi MFD, were very well thank you! Hope you and your boys are too! How did the interview go? (I saw on facebook last week)

Best wishes for it. Not the nicest thing to do, but it has to be done.

We're off out shopping to get some barbecue food in and the girls have all invited friends around. A couple of mums are coming too, so it's not just myself and Lucy with a bunch of giggly girls. Phew!

Catch you later folks. Have a nice afternoon.
