just to add on the Boots points chat, if you don't have, or have lost your voucher that came through the post, you can print it off from the advantage card machines, or you could yesterday anyway.

oh and no-one has mentioned this so not sure if everyone has had a letter yet but Boot parenting club now gives you 10 yes TEN points a pound on baby stuff :D I got a voucher last week as did 2 of my mates :)

I got that but can't remember where I put it now!

Makes it so worthwhile buying things in Boots when you can stack the points up.

Going to see if I can take another look around the new creche tomorrow after work and if I still like it we will go for it. Feel bad that Jack has to get used to new people again, but as the group is small at the moment he will get lots of interaction and he was fine for the 20mins I left him yesterday cos I watched him on the CCTV.

Must get to bed, might not be on much busy week in work plus sorting creche out.

I have been before and loved the island. It is so beautiful and the history is amazing. I have wanted to go back ever since...

...but mostly the flights fit in perfectly with when we needed to go (we had a window of precisely 1 day to fit in with DSS going back to school) and the island isn't full of chavs :o

Hubby and I love our holidays and once I start a new job (presuming of course I get a new job) it will be a while until I accrue enough holiday to go again. The thought of not going anywhere else until 2011 makes us both go

Maz have you taken him to the GP to find out what his spots were? I'm soo curious :o

When we initially went she said " oh might be chickenpox, just keep an eye and if they blister it will be" so not much use tbh..she's supposed to be a women and children specialist but useless if you ask me... they have gone right down and only just started itching yesterday.. I think they were gnat bites...even girls at nursery on friday said that.. so 2 days paid for that he wasnt there but oh well
II am in bonny Scotland just now. MIL has given me a BNWT amazing Coast dress that she bought and has never worn as it's too small.

    It's this one...

It doesn't look as long and slim on me though as I'm so short lol

    nice dress SJ...

MFD - so pleased for you...great to have a holiday together.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

I'm a big fan of Santorini and we were there for part of our honeymoon but I am too into lazy beach-lying, if I was going to just one Greek island for a week's break I'd pick one of the easier ones I think. But Santorini is awesome :D

  • The other (non-port) side of the island is flat and beachy Bruno ;)

We are currently 'in discussion' about whether we stay in Thira where I have spied a lovely looking little hotel or staying on the other side of the island which is a bit more like any other greek island...

Do you think Thira is a silly option for a couple with a 10 year old and a 17 month old toddler? Your honest opinion would be appreciated (any anyone elses who knows Santorini)

    Gorgeous pic!
