While C is asleep and I have a minute - how old were your LO's when they went onto one daytime nap? C seems to have stopped the morning and afternoon one and these last few days has a 1.5 hour or 2 hour nap right over dinnertime ie now. She always looks shattered though so it bothers me (along with the wakeful nights). Does it sound about the right age for just one nap?

I'm here, although I shouldn't be.

Love the pic and what a fab swing. Liam loves his swing - he now stands at the french doors pointing at it. Oh, and we're lucky if Liam has a sleep- but 1 longish sleep seems about right.

Gill - I was going to say your already a member, but I see you have spotted that. Kindof has also offered some teats to Mel, so I'll pop mine in with your nappies

Jack still has 2 naps, 9.30am for an hour and then 12.30pm for 1-2hrs. Has started to be 1hr more than 2hrs recently.

MOTM - I don't do energy drinks so I'm OK. OH said last night that he would get up with Jack tonight and Saturday night so I could have a drink and get some sleep BUT he could have just been saying that so he could get his leg over

This office sucks! I'm used to having a bit of a laugh while I'm in work but I'm in a huge office of about 100 people and there are cliquey groups of b1tchy women so I tend to just speak to the guys but worry that make me look bad. I just keep my head down and get on with my work but its so boring

So am I the only person admitting to using talc then? I see no problems with it (on a boy) if its put into the parents hand away from baby and then gently rubbed on his bum

Or I would like tips on changing his bum them? cos the wipes make his bum moist so it needs drying with soemthing

We use talc here, tonnes of the stuff I can't stand clammy or damp skin. I've been covering myself head to toe in the stuff all my life (mum is the same so covered us as kids)
as I understand it modern 'talc' isn't actually made from the same stuff as it used to be but I could have made that up.

on the subject of wipes leaving him wet are they very wet wipe? I've found the new huggies (in the beige packet not the older burgandy ones) are very wet so I squeeze out some of the liquid before I put them in my wipes box

not sure if anyone remembers but...We agreed to not find out the gender of my last pg. I thought I was having a girl and got to the point where I thought if I was wrong it would affect how I bonded with the baby so I had a private scan at 33ish weeks to find out. OH still didn't want to know so I had them write it down covertly (mum came to the scans too and I didn't want her knowing I knew ) when I opened the envelope and saw "congratulations its a boy" I actually felt excited I still discussed girls names etc with hubby so he didn't work it out. When Ed popped out and the MW said "its a boy" hubby looked shocked :rotfl: once we were alone he told me he thought it was a girl because I hadn't been upset after the scan I'll never forget his shocked face from the birth, it still makes me smile

Erm - any tips for having a boy much appreciated :rotfl:OH now has 3 girls and says he wouldn't be disappointed as he knows where he is with girls but he'd love a boy to play footie and golf with (although I know girls can do both of those ). I'd like one of each too really but who knows. We are not TTC at the mo (cos AF has not reappeared here yet either though the doc said 1 in 100 get pg if not using contraception while BF) but we are not preventing IYKWIM.

Quick question - I'm going to try and get C back in her own room in 2 weeks when OH back on lates (so I can have a lie in!). The main thing worying me is that she seems to feed lots at her first few wakes (prob before 12) so I am worried that she will be straving if I don't feed her. Do I just make her go cold turkey? I'm dreading it and I love her being in with us but I know she gotta go at some point and she is nearly one now :eek:

Am I being silly by asking why you can't feed her and but her back in her own bed?:o When I bother to put Ed in his bed, he'll be in there 9pm-ish and wake up once or twice between then and midnight/1pm, then he wakes sometime after 5am for a feed, depending on if OH has left for work or not I'll either put him back in his cot or just pop him on OH's side

I'm gutted that none of my local sainsbury's do click n collect, I would have got the my pal scout if they did as with delivery its only £2 ish less than tesco etc I'm not bothering (plus Chris has been naughty lately so he doesn't deserve a nice new toy! He has a trainset I put away months ago that he still hasn't be good enough for any amount of time to deserve it *sigh*

Office politics are not my thing either. Don't worry about talking to the guys, I'd say almost every friend i've had in the last 15 years has been female, so I probably look bad too, but who cares eh?

Sami -I am hoping to cut out all the wakings really so she will sleep through. I do wonder about feeding her when she wakes up until midnight then making her go back off without but noit sure if that would confuse her. She wakes about 4 times between going down at 7 and midnight and I want to try and cut that down. Maybe if she starts settling herself she just won't wake as often? oh its just so hard (and thats only thinking about it lol).

Think it'll be a case of suck it and see but I don't want to make it too traumatic for her or me!!

Must dash - she's shouting at me :-)

Erin has a bit of a nap in the morning after her morning feed then a nap around 12 and then another one around 5 but they usually don't last long and she's asleep now so the timing often varies!

Currently debating whether to try the Progesterogen Only Pill.

I know that its the Oestrogen that makes your boobs grow and gives you loads of nasty side effects so I'm hoping I'll be OK. Plus I figured if they did start getting bigger I could just stop taking it but I'm a bit scared.

Fed up of using Rainjackets and don't want the coil. :think:
