That's nadnad. She posted for about a year but then she got a job and stopped posting. She did one post about a month ago to say she's started a blog.
Thanks Susan, it was one of those things that was really bugging me as I couldnt work it out !Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
After 3 boys my hubby was (secretly so he thinks) desperate for a girl. I knew Benjamin was going to be a boy so I worked really hard on getting hubby to agree to finding out the sex at the 20 week scan (he was against it to start with).
I was right of courseplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Glad to see you back Mel and everything is crossed MFD.MOTM - not normal for me to be that active first thing (well not post pg). Id like to get back into that routine though as it makes the day ahead so much easier, and gives me the rest of the day to myself.
Well, kudos to you for being that active once after geting up. On school days I get up an hour before the kids, just to wake up so i'm half ready for the explosion when they get upThanks MOTM - Jack woke up at 12.30am and I hadn't dropped off to sleep. Spent 45mins trying NOT to give him a bottle, but he was having none of it so I gave in and he was wide awake at 5am for 30mins. So 4.5hrs sleep. I feel OK though
MOTM - Oh poor DD, I bet she was embarrassed and then went a bit far in trying to cover it up. Glad all sorted now.
Hopefully that won't be a regular thing. 4.5 hours still isn't enough. Just don't drink any of these energy drinks. You'll feel a lift for a short period then a massive crash later. I'm fortunate enough that when baby is born, i'll be able to stay at home and not work, so not have to worry about being at my best for colleagues/clients etc
We'll be chatting to her shortly. Lucy says she doesn't mind, I have mixed feelings, but will worry about that later.Erm - any tips for having a boy much appreciated :rotfl:OH now has 3 girls and says he wouldn't be disappointed as he knows where he is with girls but he'd love a boy to play footie and golf with (although I know girls can do both of those). I'd like one of each too really but who knows. We are not TTC at the mo (cos AF has not reappeared here yet either
though the doc said 1 in 100 get pg if not using contraception while BF) but we are not preventing IYKWIM.
First post since we got MOTM news so congrats to you both.:j
I wish I knew. I would like a boy, but won't be disappointed with a girl. Happy and healthy and all that and my girls love their sports. I wanted a boy after the first couple of girls, but got 5 more girls and I wouldn't be without them....a boy would be nice though to help the balance a little.0 -
We have a Violet - it's a favorite.
Althought did you see this a few weeks ago?
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/821422/Parents-are-barking-mad-at-best-selling-toy-that-blurts-out-the-f-word.html
I've played and played it and can't hear a swear word.
I didn't see that, but I'll not mention it and see if OH noticesWM - I got an Activity table from Oldham. The Manchester fort store had none so I called the Oldham branch and they had had 10 (wow lots!) delivered so she put one aside for me. Altrinham was my next try....bit gutted I missed out on the Boots ones though - people were getting three for £17.50 on a glitch
Hello BTW - sorry I can't really help with the sleep issue - is she hungry - could water help? *needs the shrugging man*
Gill & EA - fairies will be flying today. As I am in work when I shouldn't be I will make use of the post :rotfl:0 -
Mel - did you see mine & kindof's offer for TT CTN bottles and anti-colic teats? Sorry your feeling down.
MFD - fingers crossed for you0 -
