Nope the next 2 letters arent the same, I thought it was choppy but its not... think she is old PT....Only Sami and SB are friends with her apart from me!
I'm intrigued now! I had to go and stalk. Is it the Na Ro one?
She has a baby Oscar born in June 2008 - so she's before my time on the PT.:beer:0 -
Was coming out of lurking mode to say NR is me but it isn't (well it is, but the one Maz is talking about isn't
I'm going to try and come to the meet if you'll have me, as I know I'm not around very much anymore. I've only met Elle and Claire so far, so it'll be nice to meet some more of you.
It's only £12 return by train (plus the £7.20 parking!) or I could drive. I work Thursdays, so will try and book it off. My boss is on holiday until that week though, so I won't see him until the 10th, so it may be a bit short notice.
Before I dash off again for a day full of errands...
Good luck today MFD
Hope all the poorly babies feel better soon
Congratulations MOTM and Lucy.

MOTM I hope the tears aren't over anything too drastic!
Hopefully Mel will be back soon. I'll close my eyes if it's too female for male viewing
Everyone is so excited about the baby, 11yo called Lucy the 'M' word, realised her mistake and ran to her room in tears  and when Lucy let her know it was okay, went in the opposite direction and said everything possible to ensure Lucy knew it was a mistakeShe's okay today and we'll have a chat with her later.
Is anyone doing the Best Western Hotel Facebook competitions today?

My luck is on the up.

MOTM - Oh dear, I hope Lucy is OK.
She's okay. 11yo is a little sheepish but now running around like a lunatic. Hope you got your sleep last night. 3 hours is not enough for anyone. Even Mrs Thatcher got 4 hours! (Not that i'm comparing you to her)Poppie's gone into hospital for a check, DD rang 5mins ago to say they were sending her in, breathing problems again.
Best wishes for Poppie.:grouphug: for MOTM's upset brood
Right, I am off to make tea and toast. Husband managed to get Molly back to sleep but I had to still be awake because I have a lovely day of spa treatments and haircut ahead of meBack in a minute...
What a lovely emoticon :rotfl:What are they doing?
I hope you are having a nice time. Relax and think of nothing stressful0 -
Morning ladies. Thomas isn't himself again today
He had a really good night in his big cot and slept through until 6am, he needed feeding straight away and by 8am was asleep again in his swings. No smiles or anything inbetween
just a lot of whinging. His hand was in his mouth a lot so I'm wondering if it's his teeth bothering him again.
Another poorly oneHope Thomas feels better soon.

**vibes for little James**
You think thats bad! you'd be lucky to find a studio flat or rent a room for that around here! I keep telling OH we need to move to near my Mum in Derbyshire as we could get a big 3 bed for what we pay for our one bed.
MOTM - not normal for me to be that active first thing (well not post pg). Id like to get back into that routine though as it makes the day ahead so much easier, and gives me the rest of the day to myself.
boogelly - lots of healthy vibes for wee James x Oh and a huge welldone to mum for the great work expressing.
Jenny - thanks for that we already have a cot tho and if we didnt wouldnt have room for it to bedside anyhoo, but will remember that if were lucky enough to have another bubs.
And a big thanks for the other comments on co sleeping seems there is no magic answer other than winning the lottery and buying a mahoosive bed lol.
Emlou - thanking thee for the mypal scout link I wanted violet for T and on looking at sainsburys find they have that too and she is 35p cheaper too hehe, I think I may go look in our local store before ordering tho.
Am contemplating doing the WW diet by cheating and buying the books off ebay and just having a weigh in on MILs new WW scales every Wednesday when I visit her, anyone who's ever done WW do you think this is feesable?
Jillie - get well vibes for K x
SS - eeewww breast warts!!! Surely they should have a much lovlier name x
gill - speaking as a mothercare employee I dont think she would get in trouble at all and its always lovely to get compliment letters.
MFD - hope the interview is going well.
Tara - vibes for poppy too x
On the subject of more babies I know OH would really like a little boy but keeps telling me he knows we'll have another girl, I think its his way of avoiding dissapointment lol. Though he loves his little girl and know hed be happy either way. On that front only a few more weeks to go before we officially start trying for no 2I just hope it doesnt take another 6 years and/or ivf again. Anyone know what the chances are if my AF hasn't returned yet, I really dont want to give up BF yet.
I have a baby who doesnt want to be one, she is desperatley trying to master crawling  Someone tell her thats not normal for 4 1/2 months! We have a king size fleece laid out on the floor and she can caterpillar crawl from one side to the other no probs. She even took her toy with her a minute ago too. And she doesnt like being on her back no matter where you put her, its tummy all the way, even in the bouncer!!
Right off to entertain her, hope everyones morning is off to a good start so far and sorry for the epic post but I had some time for a change.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Hi Choppy nice to hear from you againI'm intrigued now! I had to go and stalk. Is it the Na Ro one?
She has a baby Oscar born in June 2008 - so she's before my time on the PT.
:jyep thats the one....Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Thanks MOTM - Jack woke up at 12.30am and I hadn't dropped off to sleep. Spent 45mins trying NOT to give him a bottle, but he was having none of it so I gave in and he was wide awake at 5am for 30mins. So 4.5hrs sleep. I feel OK though
Som - we occasionally co-sleep when Jack is teething usually. I either let him sleep in the middle of the 2 of us but OH has a habit of rolling over and almost squashing him or Jack spends the night kicking OH in the back :rotfl:OR he sleeps next to me on the edge of the bed and I have my arm under his head so he can't roll, VERY uncomfy! We slept in the spare room last night and Jack has most of the bed to himself - he likes to move about alot!
MOTM - Oh poor DD, I bet she was embarrassed and then went a bit far in trying to cover it up. Glad all sorted now.
Mel - if you are lurking, hope you are OK.
3 - Well done on your win
MFD - Hope it went OK.
Vibes for James and Poppy xxA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

And I'd certainly never dream about putting it on little bits... Have you seen how it cakes up when it's wet?!
When I am changing E's nappy, we use wipes and then pat him dry with a flannel and then put talc on his bum, its stopped him ever having nappy rash *shrugs*
Gill - No problem
So am I the only person admitting to using talc then? I see no problems with it (on a boy) if its put into the parents hand away from baby and then gently rubbed on his bum
Or I would like tips on changing his bum them? cos the wipes make his bum moist so it needs drying with soemthing
