That's what i'm worried about, i don't want to go overdressed and look stupid. Maybe I will get the white shirt and black trs I was also eyeing up??Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Redmel i'm sure u will look lovely in the dress - unless u were doing it with hair extensions, fake nails, fake boobs and lashing of false tan then maybe that would be wag style and a little bit over dressed.Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0

Mel Where did you see the dress, do you have a link? I'm sure you'll look beautiful in whatever you choose, I can't imagine you turning up in a Katie Price type outfit! :rotfl:
Average day here. We've been to Asda and the library. I got The ***** ***to read - I thought I should before I go to the camp on Saturday. I'm still on the first chapter but it's very interesting, I keep getting to bits and saying 'that happened to us' and boring OH by reading bits out to him.
Oh, and V coloured in my Stokke bag with black ball point while under OH's supervision.:beer:0 -
When you said The Horse Boy (I book I have never heard of) I thought you said The Horse and His Boy (I book I know well), and I was both charmed that you thought it would be useful revision before your holiday, and amazed that you kept thinking scenes from the book had happened to you
Then I re-read your post and was disappointed.0 -
Evening all. I'm baaack.
Funeral was as well as you can expect from these things. DH had to take Izzy out of the crematorium because she had a temper when I said "no" to milk. I don't mind feeding in most places, but in the middle of a funeral didn't feel right!
Then there was a thanksgiving service thingy at his church, so there was a childrens corner. The vicar had said we could sit there, and not to worry if she made noise, as in the normal service there are kids running around all over the place. But DH still spent the whole time giving me evils whenever she ran from the toys to him/my parents or made any noise. (He didn't once get off his backside to help of course. KH.) Anyway. We made it most of the way through, and I just took her out near the end and we played outside (in the rain!) for a bit. Then there were tea and sarnies in the church hall, and Izzy did a great job of cheering everyone upI always think bringing a baby to a funeral is a public service thing. Maybe I should hire her out
Anyway, have dropped DH into town now to talk to a man about a [strike]pint[/strike] training course. But he is under strict instructions to come home with a chippy tea. Yippee
Anyway, I should probably have a quick tidy up at the very least - seeing as I don't need to cook any dinner!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Hi all. Mmm ladybird, chippy tea, I'm jealous
. Glad the funeral went ok. I understand about not wanting to feed in the crematorium. When we had DH grans funeral in May we took T, he was about 6 months then. We were sat in the crematorium fine until the organ music started and T's face dropped and he did the loudest most upset cry
. I whisked him outside until it had stopped then took him back in, then course there was another song later and the same happened. aww he didn't like it at all!! Deffo agree about it being a public service thing, it's nice having kiddies there to cheer people up a bit. Xx
