My dad has seen Henry 4 times but 3 of those were in the first month! Fortunately Henry has lots of other grand parents who can't get enough of him!
I only ever had two grandparents so Alice has more than me even without my dad. OH gets all stressed about how we're going to explain it when she realises that she should have another grandad.

My dad has never seen Elliot and probably won't ever see him, it makes me VERY sad to think that, I dont even know if dad knows he has a grandson.

I dont know why it makes me sad, I dont know if its cos I didnt have any grandparents so I wanted Elliot to have them all, but at the same time, dad never kept his promises to come and see me, so I dont know if I would want him in Elliot's life incase he screws him over as well :(

    Morning :D Love to all.

Susan - Do you think Alice would ask/be bothered by the amount of grandparents she has? My OH says I'm greedy because I have 6 but he only had 3 growing up and now has just 2.

Speaking of my hubby, one of his doggies had to be put down the other day :( its only the 2nd pet of his that has died as he managed to be quite lucky and his childhood pets have lived pretty long but he doesn't see my POV on it. I hope he doesn't think I'm a cow because I don't get quite as upset :s I've seen probably 50ish pets come and go in my life what with many a litter of puppies we've had in Dad's menagerie. In typical style though his parents have had a complete common sense failure and decided that now there's only 1 that the dog can come in the house, so He is off to the groomer today for a cut n blow :p Said dog is a complete nightmare, he may be old but he's still very much a full of beans border collie with long hair and a penchant for chewing and p'ing on furniture  I said if they think I'm letting Edgar crawl around with the risk of coming across dog wee they can think again!!

I can really sympathise with bad grandads, Mine has only seen T once and that was cos we made the effort to take her to him! I wouldnt mind so much if he lived miles away but he's about 17 miles from us. I think what makes it worse is he always takls about his OHs grandchildren :(

Gentle hugs for poorly babies and down mummies x

Supposed to be meeting up with DK this afternoon for a wander round Wisley gardens but its persisting it down here!

Jillie - I like the look of the multiway and we used to sell loads at work :)

Beenie - all I will say is dont do anything in a rush take your time and think hard about your situation, then what ever you do decide make it work for you x

I'm sure she will notice eventually but hopefully she won't be too bothered about it.

Thanks so much everyone... my head just hurts!!!

Redstar we have tried Relate before but we couldn't afford to keep going cos even when they reduced it for us it was still £20 a time and we were skint, and tbh i wasn't sure how much it was helping. But then again we only went a few times...

WM be warned i've sent you a PM and had to delete some cos i exceeded the limit LOL :rotfl:

Is it bad to give Amber bread too much? Cos like, she had cheese on toast two days in a row for lunch and i'm thinking of doing eggy bread today cos she loves it. And she has half of my toast after her breakfast everyday... None for tea though? Oh and she loves toasted teackes... i've bought some reduced salt butter cos i was getting a bit paranoid

Also, she likes cottage cheese, is she allowed it?? lol... she had some on a Ryvita yesterday. I keep giving her anything and everything that i'm eating and i'm sure some of it is prob bad for her.

Feels like all she does all day is eat!! She's always got rice cakes or something in her hand. I think i'm fattening her up too much, i'll be moaning when she needs new clothes

Beenie - I'm just off out but is Amber near to needing 9-12mth clothes and if so would you like a pair of lemon leggings for her? I got them 'free' using your voucher :D
and yes if anyone is wondering I did buy some girls leggings for my son :p it was a 2pk and the other pair are navy and white stripes so totally ok for him to wear IMO :p
