Morning everyone, I'm just catching up from last night.
Beenie, if you're still seriously considering taking the ex back, have you considered making him attend some sort of counselling with you? (May be a rubbish idea - I've never tried it, but could be worth it - would also test how much effort he's willing to put it)?
SM - Sending you a hug. I know how easy it is to get down, especially at 'that time of the month' - I should know, now on my 4th visit from AF in 6 weeks! Just try and concentrate on how ell you're doing - as for the fat comment  SM - you're doing brilliantly, not only have you lost your baby weight, you've been keeping it off and exercising regularly - no way are you fat! And I've seen your photo, so you should stop with the 'unattractive' comments - you're lovely.:p

When I was pregnant with Freddie, Amelie wanted to know how the baby had got in my tummy, so in the end I told her that babies grow like seeds grow into trees, and of course she wanted to know how the 'seed' got in there, so I told her that Daddy put it there .
She came into the bedroom one morning and said ' Daddy, you put a pip in Mummy's tummy and now it's growing into a baby!' We thought that was really sweet, so we refered to my bump as 'Pip' from then - in fact that nearly ended up being his real name!.
Amelie was also very upset initally when she found out we were having a boy and not a girl. When we asked her why she said she couldn't name the baby Rapunzel now...
Anyway, I'm hoping the peace lasts for a little while here - everyone's now got temperatures and feeling unwell. Amelie's been given calpol and dispatched to Pre-school as its her last day (didn't really want her to miss it). DH has been administered paracetemol and dispatched to work (didn't really want him to miss that as he's got 3 days off next week). Freddie's been given calpol and put down for a nap, and I've administered chocolate to myself and sat in front of the computer!!:rotfl:

Just read back and it seems lots of hugs are required.
Mel- you are a strong, beautiful woman and a brilliant Mum and I'm sure your OH knows that too. You're just going through a tough patch but you will come out the other side and wonder what you worried about.
Glad Charlotte seems brighter, JAM.
Hope the funeral goes well Ladybird. Is Izzy at nursery or are you taking her?
Glad you got some decent sleep Hammy! I hope D continues to feel better.
JM- that tutu picture is gorgeous!
Redstar- I hope your household all feel better soon and that you get to enjoy a bit of peace.
I'm supposed to be hosting a tea group but no-one's here yet! Hence me being on here. I've got my dad coming later. He hasn't seen H for 4 months so no doubt I will be on here later to rant about his emotional crippledness!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
