Sami, u managed to get Chris a nursery place sorted yet?
YES :j I've picked a place in blackrod, its a bit further away than I would have liked ideally but its just perfect, they do the session times I want (9am-12, 12-3pm) it was clean and tidy while still allowing the kids to have fun, they go out and about to the library/park/post office every so often and if he goes on a Thursday he can go to swimming lessons :D They have very cool fingerprint scanning security locks too
Yes, the only shoe shop worth bothering with IMO... It's Friary Shoes Avoid it in the last week of August / first week of September tho!!

My baby brother became a Daddy this morning :D:D A little boy called Dante Stephen... Only weighs 5lb something!
ooh I love Dante!! Gorgeous name and ooh how diddy!!
There is a little girl who plays with my sister & keira when she is over called "Alejandra" I can't help but sing Alejandro to her now but she was saying to me "oh I'm getting a new baby!" i was like "Oh her mum must be pregnant" so I saw her mum and i asked when she was due "Im not pregnant !!" ARGGGH, I did explain and she burst out laughing and said her SISTER just had a baby and what Alejandra meant was she had a new baby cousin - Doh. But the baby is called BORIS......I know Keira isn't too everyones taste either, and that's cool, I just think Boris is a dogs name

If anyone has named their child boris I apologise.....:o
    OMG Boris!!! :p

Beenie - please just pop back to your posts a few days ago when your ex was talking about his TWO kids - you do NOT need him in your life!!:)

Is anyone still up? I have a first time puker and am not sure what to do!

She was sick at 6am this morning and has been fine all day. She has now been sick an hour ago and 20 mins ago. She is happy as Larry but every time I feed her she is sick 10-20 mins later. My main problem is, she will only go to sleep if I feed her!!!

Am currently down stairs and not sure whether to take her back up and chance her hurling again or what????

    Any opinions please?????

Hugs to all, sorry I only post when I need help!! xxx
I found Ed would eventually fall asleep and stay that way - sorry not much use!
When he had gastro enteri.... can't spell! I kept a couple of towels around/on me and a bucket/bowl so at least clean up is easy :)

It will pass eventually. Get lots of towels and give her a little water. Perhaps stay up for a while just to make sure it passes a little.

You are probably in for a rough night though hun, just bear with it and administer muchos booby and cuddles.

Hope C gets better soon. xx

Edit - just seen your post - do you have fleecy blankets or similar? You just need big absorbent things to catch and clear the mess. You will probably both end up naked sooner or later ;o)

Do anything you can to make you both comfortable....

Thanks for the leaflet, Krystal. I've only had a chance to skim but sounds increasingly likely. Finn has no symptoms and my only one is pain but it really seems to match up! I don't mind living with it for another week, since it's totally not worth the hassle of trying to see someone here...I mean, it's already been probably over a month since it started so another few days won't make a difference.

Finn'll get more beef for dinner as we're having steaks tonight, lol. Good for iron allowances, I guess!! He's also gone nuts for melon (I don't like it, so I hadn't bought any at home yet :o). Just sharing to help others still looking for food ideas.

We didn't tell anyone our name choices before he was born. Not even what was on the final list, since we actually only decided on his name a few hours into his life :). I think it's better that way, as then no one can be judgmental and mean beforehand.

  • We kept our names list quiet to family and friends but I floated a few on the preg thread.

DSS did get to see it though but there was about 8 names on it so he didn't know which we would choose (neither did we until I was in labour LOL).

When I was pregnant we called Benjamin 'Bubba' which stuck and all our families were calling him bubba for months before he came. After Benjamin was born DSS went into the Build a Bear Factory with his mum and made a teddy for Benjamin and called it Bubba :A all with his own money too, bless him.

Aww MFD how sweet! Chris got a build a bear from MIL when we were on hols - I can't believe the price of them! (esp as the girl serving us totally encouraged Chris to get his bear some shoes - what does a bear need shoes for :p)

Deffo buy more towels JAM :p Tesco value ones are quite good for such occasions
