no chippy tea now - he isn't coming home just yet, so I'm going to sort myself some tea out now (or I will waste away ;) ). I will claim my chippy tea later in the week I think!

As Ambercat is too wee, any takers?
My wee one is just heading into 9-12, we'll take them off your hands :)

Jam, glad C is feeling better.

    And Elliot too Keely :)

I didn't take Aimee to my Grandad's funeral because we went in the car with my Dad and Nan and there wouldn't have been space but my friend bought her to the wake and she definitely cheered everyone up!

Glad it went off OK Ladybird... :)

SM, how often do you have driving lessons? I was trying to squeeze a couple a week in but my friend that was all up for watching Caitlyn for me has gone all cold and non-commital about it... I'm a bit stuck about what to do now... It's very frustrating!

Katie has been looking through the Argos catalogue and is asking for a pink phone!

Charlotte has got a pink phone! Her imaginary friends Dammer and Mark ring her on it, mystery shopping companies ring her and ask her to do work, and sometimes Cheryl Cole rings her as well :D

Mel - wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, and stuff what anyone else thinks :D

I took Charlotte to my Gran's funeral. She got a bit twisty and noisy and I was trying to distract her with books. Afterwards a number of people said it was lovely hearing her during the service and they thought Gran would have liked her contribution. We used to see my Gran weekly, and Gran thought the world of her.

Been to boot camp this evening and thankfully it stayed dry. It's quite chilly and damp though and feels more like November than July.
Here I go again on my own....

Krystal - you could probably get lessons on a weekend. Then if you wanted to do an extra lesson in during the week you would only have to find childcare for one lesson. and you might be able to learn after bedtime? Especially at the moment when it is still light. Or I suppose if the driving teacher didn't mind you could even try with her in the car if you could time it at naptime?

That's one job done - laptop booked in with brother.

Katie is bugging me to go on a train ride - I see a trip to see DH's best friend in London in our future.

She does have a Pink Fisher Price phone in the house somewhere, I'll dig it out for her.

OMG, I just have to share....T has fallen asleep on her own for the first time ever!!!! I changed her stinky bum on the changing tray and then gave her the dummy as she was getting a bit grinchy, then went in the kitchen to sort dinner for me and dh and she didn't make a peep, I was waiting for the wailing...but it just didn't happen, when I peeked in to check on her she was fast asleep:)

    - I looked at that diet you are doing, have you registered on the website and are paying the fee? Or are you following it through 'other' channels!

I haven't got a link for the dress, i'm not sure about it now.....will have a look about maybe ebay and ASOS etc. I really don't want to pay much as the kiddies outfits cost me £40, and we ALL need clothes.....

I'm going to ask her if she does weekends, but she has children herself so not sure she does... Evenings are still difficult because of D's journey from home taking 90mins on a good day... With the Island near his work dug up it's taking longer...

Also she's a bit unpredictable in the car (probably because she's not used to it!) so probably not great to take her with me if she's going to wail... At least while I'm not so good at it anyway lol...

    Exactly!!

I'm sure you're a lot better than you think you are :)

My newish Mummy friend offered to watch C for me if I needed her to today which is very kind of her... But she lives about 20mins walk away at the bottom of a big hill, and she's quite a new friend so it's a lot to expect from her...
