Beccles, sounds like they are going to have a great timeI NEED HELP!!!!!
Apologies for the drama, I just feel like a woman on the edge....
Landen will not sleep! Yesterday he fed well during the day and then at about 5pm it all started going downhill. He's wanted constant feeding, and wont be put down. Last night was awful, I've had no sleep at all. He's taken 220ml in the space of 45 minutes, at 4 weeks old! but he half dozes and then immediately wakes up and starts screaming the place down.....he's only quiet(er) when he's up in my arms over my shoulder...
Winding him seems to be taking for ever as well.... is it possible he's crying in pain from trapped wind? Would he demand food to ease it? Any suggestions? I'm worried that he's now over tired, and it's going to be even harder to get him to sleep....
I've tried some baby massage, and it did quiet him down but I cant sit there and massage him all day surely?!
ARGH! This is not covered by my baby books LOL
I quoted this, but then everyone else has said everything I was going to say. Um.... depending on how good he is at holding up his head by now (Izzy had a really strong neck, so I could do things with her at 4 weeks that you wouldn't do until a lot later with other babies!), you could try bouncing him on your knee to get wind up. Lying accross your lap on your tummy, and rubbing/patting his back might work. And if he needs to trump, rather than burp, when he is lying on his back and you are massaging his tummy, you could also try "cycling" his legs.
Definitely speak to HV though.

CAFC - Apologies if you've already been through this, but what was the reasoning behind switching milk? If the other milk was causing him problems, you might be best perservering as you are - but do speak to your HV, I'm sure they'll give better advice than me!

Beenie, I've always used Max Factor but for the wedding went to the Clinique counter in Debenhams and got some help from the lady. She assured me it would last all day and recommended one for my skin and I have to say she was right.
Morning everyone. XToo many children, too little time!!!0 -

Ooh but Clinique is expensive, my mam used to buy loads of it from America and sell it on ebay, silly prices.
Am using Max Factor Seamless at the min, might just stick with that? I only really use it to try and hide by black eyes so i might be better off just using concealer0
