FBB- how did the festival go? I hope it stayed dryish for you.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Morning here.
After her late night, Izzy was awake and yelling at her gate at 6:30 this morning. My brother has to look after her for 45 mins or so later on, and I'm hoping she will just fall asleep in the buggy when we walk into town, so it will be easy for him (if not i'm sure he will manage though! ... just a shame it is raining, not sure if the park will be an option.) I've had not much less sleep than her and I'm nackered, so she must be pooped! She is being a cheeky monkey this morning too - must know I'm tiredIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Argh, bad night here too
There was an epic thunderstorm so Molly was kept awake past midnight  and then she was really restless all night with feeds at 4, 6 adn 7. And somewhere in the meantime I had a full on anxiety attack, which has never happened to me before, so I've had about half an hour of sleep. I have an epic list of things to do today, though, and Husband has taken his allegedly-broken foot to get X-rayed and then he's off to the office so I'm on my own with Stinky Monkey.
I'm very interested in a weird language quirk though. I, and everyone else, always says "Hi" to Molly, never Hiya. And yet she's started saying Hiya *shrugs*Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning all,
sitting here in a very quiet house as bubs is at nursery for the morning as part of her settling sessions: I go back to work tomorrow:( She cries when I leave her and when I pick her up - I know it is just a phase and she will get over it, but it is upsetting!
Does anyone know how I can get hold of a copy of my maternity / birth notes? I have an urge to read them for some reason just now.0 -
yay after 4 nights of Thomas refusing to go back into his basket at 5am we were back to normal last night :j He went straight to sleep with no whinging at 8.30, slept till 4am, had a fairly quick feed, then back in his basket and straight back to sleep!!
I hope he does the same tonight coz DH is working away and I'm on my own with him.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Poor you - much worse when you are at home too - when you are at work you will be too busy to worry!
Will your lo be having breakfast at nursery? I find now that so long as I settle her down with her breakfast before I go, Izzy is fine with being left at nursery. Sometimes she spots a really exciting toy and rushes off to play with it, and if I try to leave she panics, but I think she is more worried that she won't get any breakfast if she doesn't sit down to eat while I'm there :rotfl:.
Re birth notes - you should be able to get a copy from the hospital. Lots of hospitals offer something like a "birth afterthoughts" service, where you can talk through your notes with someone, but if you just want to see a copy of them then I'm sure that would be fine too. I have a feeling that they HAVE to let you see a copy if you ask due to data protection laws if nothing elseMight be worth just giving the maternity ward a ring? I don't know about pregnancy notes though - I suppose the m/w probably kept notes at your drs surgery? Might be worth asking there?

I did give her breakfast before we went out this morning, but as we had to leave early she was still sleepy poor baby, and didn't eat just as much as usual. So I popped a fruit pot and some breadsticks into her bag and the nursery will give her those at nursery breakfast time.
I know she will get used to everything: she is not used to me leaving her places, so that would be why she is upset. She is also a bit clingy when she is there and likes to be with some of the staff all the time, but they are happy to keep her right beside them until she is happy enough to go and play on her own.0 -
Arrgh, I hate some Ebay buyers - I've sold some books on ebay and one of my winners hasn't paid yet. I've now recieved this message from her:
'My husband put a bid on the above item for me as a surprise but I have got this book already, Could you please cancel this auction for me..Thankyou for your help' - er no, according to your feedback you bought the same book on buy it now two days ago from a different seller!!!!!!
I don't know what to do now, I suppose I'll just have to do what she wants or no doubt she'll leave me bad feedback, but this is just.....wrong!!!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'
