DH thinks they are trying it on, and is going to call them directly, rather than having a go at me (not sure why he thought that would help ). Right. Must get on with this job application I'm filling in. I am overreaching myself with this one, and am pretty sure I have NO chance of getting it, but I definitely won't if I don't apply.

Well done Becles. I've been a bit productive this morning but am mostly just melting in the heat. My second counselling assignment is submitted and I caught up on office stuff, but I have a paper to revise for publication and it's slow going. Plus Google Docs has done something annoying to it :mad:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

We also have a new trick of standing on something, looking at mummy (or shouting Mamma to some and look if she is not around) and then saying 'GET DOWN' in a really stern voice :rotfl::rotfl:

Morning,
Boo - take the Mura, it will be fine. The chassis will wash down easily, and the cover is removable so you can wash it if need be. It is totally fine to take Toby to the festival. You will know if it gets too busy or too loud for him and take him to somewhere quieter as you are a responsible mummy.
Decision made! Have a good time

Just catching up, thanks u fitz for this lovely post, the antenatal girls I met up with this morning have lent me 2 camping chairs too plus some ear defenders for Toby :j:j:j. How kind of them. So yes, decision made, mura with foot muff attached is ready and I think I will put the rain cover on even if not raining later to keep most of the mud off. Handy to know the cover is removable too so I don't worry. I'll report back tomorrow how we get on, rain has stopped for now :T

Muso - At such a young age, I never really paid any attention to my Holly's naps. In fact, I wouldn't have really classed them as naps. She just slept on and off during the day as and when she was tired. Maybe at around 3 or 4 months I saw more of a pattern.
Is she tired when you are putting her down at 7pm? I personally would just take my lead from the baby and do whatever suits her. I think Holly would just fall asleep in the moses basket downstairs and we would carry it up when we were going to bed, but other people are more strict on routine. I personally don't favour strict routines for young babies as they change so quickly. That's just my opinion though. Make sure you keep it darker at night, low lights, soft voices.
She always seems sleepy but the minute we put her in her cot shes wide awake! Unfortunately, she doesn't like her moses basket and won't stay in it for longer than 5 minutes so thats out.
Her naps in the day are really varied. One day she'll sleep for 4 hours straight in the day, the next she might snatch 10 mins in the pram.0 -

Sorry chick. He might be able to say purple and yellow but he doesn't have a clue which is which!! He knows which one is the orange ball but then he tries to eat it so we don't ask any more!!
It is absolutely nothing to do with me - he only spends 30 waking hours a week with me.
