Hi muso, I didn't start any kind of bedtime routine with Erin until she was at least 5 months, her naps were really random as well but she was always asleep by 10pm and I was fine with that. when I finally did start a routine and couldn't get her asleep before 9 so we have just stuck with that instead of wastingtime trying to get her to sleep earlier. Hopefully when I go back to work and start getting her up earlier it will all adjust but for now she follows my routine and doesn't wake up until 9 :)

She always seems sleepy but the minute we put her in her cot shes wide awake! Unfortunately, she doesn't like her moses basket and won't stay in it for longer than 5 minutes so thats out.

Her naps in the day are really varied. One day she'll sleep for 4 hours straight in the day, the next she might snatch 10 mins in the pram.

I had the same problem with Thomas at around the same age and he was getting really overtired and whingey. The only thing that helped him to switch off was swinging him in his car seat or taking him out in his pram so I ended up buying him a swing. Now if he falls asleep after feeding I transfer him to the swing and he stays asleep.

DH ate his egg and said it was very nice with no dead chickens in it lol :rotfl:

I was also very confused by MFD's strange requests lol

A combination of the two lol... She starts off going Mmmm with her mouth closed and ends in a Mwah with it wide open...

But it's the first time she's shown any inclination of anything resembling affection!

So glad she chose me to do it to!! :grinheart

Aww Gill, I was hoping for a mini chicklet!!!

OMG I have just loaded the car with the stuff for the festival, anyone would think we were going for a week ha! Think i am gonna put t in a vest and sleep suit when we go so i don't have to faff with changing his clothes later on.

I second using a swing gill, we still sit t in his now in fact he is in it right now! and it was really handy to pop him in and seemed to keep him asleep

We had a swing too and it was used allllllllll the time... Up until she started leaning forward in it and preventing it from swinging...
