In other news my delightful son chewed the corner off a book this morning  he wanted to take one of his thomas books in the car so I let him and then he chewed it. I was very cross. He then refused to talk to me all the way to the childminder because I had taken it off him and told him that chewing books was naughty.
He also has one of his back teeth through :T his top left. Cut through without me noticing which bodes well for more to come.
New words at MFD towers are 'purple' and 'yellow'
We also have a new trick of standing on something, looking at mummy (or shouting Mamma to some and look if she is not around) and then saying 'GET DOWN' in a really stern voice :rotfl::rotfl:
WM - are they the thomas ones with a train on the front and the name of the train (and number - like a football shirt)? If so we got them in the last Sainsburys sale!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Morning everyone!
I'm off to postnatal group in a minute but wanted to ask a couple of questions about sleep.
How many naps do/did your babies have in the day when they were about Holly's age (7 weeks)?
Any suggestions on getting her to sleep quicker at night? We're very lucky in that normally once she's asleep, she's asleep and she only gets us up for one feed at about 4am. However, getting her to sleep in the first place is the issue. We start the process at about 7pm but we're normally still up and down with her at about 10pm. Baths before bed tend to wake her up. Vigorous rocking makes her quite sleepy but then the minute you put her down she wakes up again. Or is this just normal?!?!0 -
we have proper crawling here and climbing the stairs all in 2 days!!! and oulling himself up standing!! think he was inspired by everyone last week lol!!
i am not ready for this!!

Hey everyone,
I wont be on much between 17th and 22nd, Virgin are cutting us off on the am of the 17th and reinstalling in the afternoon on the 22nd in our new house
I have my phone, but its slow and it annoys me
I wont have tv either!
This morning i could hear Lily shuffling about, then i heard a loud shuffle, so i looked up and she was laying on her front looking at us and smiling:j
She rolled to her front again a while ago, but got her arm stuck. She has already rolled to her front, but kind of gave up for a few weeks.
((hugs)) to Caz.
Gill, im curious about the egg!0 -
Hammy- I meant to say that I was talking to my friend last night who's LO has a milk allergy and she was saying that the best formula she has ever used for him is a goat's milk based one. Not sure on name, but she said you can buy it over the counter.
A MW is coming over on Tuesday to talk through my birth notes . The main thing I want to know is how likely it is that things will go the same way next time.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
