Morning lovelies! I am feeling very bright and chirpy as I have just solved our money worries for this month! There will be a lag between my last SMP and my holiday pay before going back to work which would have left us very short, but the bank have just agreed to push our mortgage DD back by four weeks which solves the problem without us having to miss a payment. Happy days, as I have been pretty worried about that!

Mel- I hope T let you get some sleep in the end.

SJ- i have a 'contol' swimsuit from Littlewoods clearance on eBay. It holds the tummy in a bit which is always a bonus, although I do also have a tankini which I also think I look passable in!

SS- I am jealous. My hubby thinks naps are optional so I usually come home to an overtired baby.

We have got the foot muff ready to keep T warm... It is ok to take him isn't it?? I was thinking at least we r not too far from home so worse case I can come home with him.

Hope everyone had good nites xx

The teacher is concerned it will hold him back, she has graphed his progress to show the head, it was a gradual gradient for the first year but in the last 6 months he's shot up through the scale as he's settling down. She has put it down to changing who he works with in class, on her recommendation from Octobers parents evening I was to encourage different friends so we had others boys round for tea so he made friends with the those that had started in the September and avoiding the 2 boys with issues as they are really naughty. Now the head wants him to stay with them breaking his new friendships.
If it's assosciation with the two particular boys who they want to keep back with him that was affecting his work then I imagine that would be a strong argument against it. Round here it's fairly common to have mixed year group classes (due to schools being too small to have single year group classes) and it tends to be done by either age or ability but not just three children left with the younger class. Also, their reasoning doesn't really make sense if he's going into Year three as once they're in KS2 they don't have the class size limit of 30 that they do in KS1. You probably know all that already but I thought I'd say it anyway as it's nice to have people backing you up.

What colour is the pram, FBB? If it's dark I would risk it.

How funny, H was also up at 2:30 for the first time in a week after sleeping through. I put it down to MIL putting him down to sleep last night instead of me.

Grrr @ eBay. I am totally peed off about my stupid flipflops. I wish I'd never listed them now!

Morning all. I'm having a peaceful few mins before I go out - Izzy is at nursery, and I've to to take the car for a service, then wander into town for a haircut (just a trim, nothing fancy!) then I'm going to pester job agencies again.

Then when I get home it will be time for more cleaning and tidying. I really know how to spend my week off ;)

Tara - I agree with SS - insist on a proper meeting to talk about it. I take it this is something that you have to agree with for them to be able to do? So hold your ground!

Yes it is dark GISI, black and a kinda grey colour. I don't wanna ruin it but we need somewhere for T to hopefully sleep so don't think we have a lot of option. Ooh unless I took the shopping basket off and just put the car seat on the wheels... Hmm that might be an idea, !!!!!! can I never just make a decision!!

Oh no can we help at all with ebay?

    Morning,

Boo - take the Mura, it will be fine. The chassis will wash down easily, and the cover is removable so you can wash it if need be. It is totally fine to take Toby to the festival. You will know if it gets too busy or too loud for him and take him to somewhere quieter as you are a responsible mummy.

Decision made! Have a good time!

Nice one about your mortgage GISI. We are using savings at the moment, but I have been surprised by how little we have needed as a top up considering I have gone from full pay to no pay. It makes me more confident about managing on part time wages now.

SJ - It was always going to happen. You are like me! I had it great for 6 months before we hit a rocky patch. I just think babies are always changing so don't worry, it will pass. Holly was up last night crying and ended up doing some rasping pumps so it was obviously wind causing her to have a disturbed sleep. She never quite settled after that so I am tired. But it's the first time in ages!

I'm not stopping, has 3 gone on her jollies now? I have a shredies code for V's nana (courtesy of Fritha) but now I can't find where to find Nanny Ann to vote :(

Sami, if you search "Shreddies" in the search field in Facebook, it brings up the Knitting Nanas page. It allows you to nominate, so maybe if you click on it, you could vote for someone already nominated??? Not sure, as I haven't clicked it.

I've had a freaky experience. I have just hardboiled 5 eggs and one of them is cheaping! Now I know that there is no chicken inside and even if there was it wouldn't have survived the boiling but there's no way I'm going to break it to check! I've left it on the side for DH lol

What was in the egg... its been bugging me all night

My son has lots of wind this morning- must be the morning for it. It doesn't seem to bother him though!

Thanks for asking FBB, but I think I am about to get my first neg! I sold some flip flops, buyer said they have some damage which mysteriously doesn't show up in my photos of them, I offer a refund if they return, buyer now wants the return postage cost refunded too. In the meantime their feedback shows they have bought 4 very similar items at the same time as buying mine. I'm not refunding the return postage cost and have quoted eBay's guidelines on it to them.

I'm off to Ikea for a booby club in a bit. Didn't sleep very well which I am putting down to drinking two cups of full caf tea in the evening, which I wouldn't normally. Maybe I can sneak a nap in later before my circuits class tonight.
