Well done all the sleeping babies!!

I'm on hospital duty this morning so will be out all morning. I am taking Alfie with me today so that DH can get on with cleaning the house uninterrupted while I'm gone :D

    Hola  Home from holidays!

It was good although a bit too hot (35-39!), a bit too long (14 days usually 10) and a bit too expensive!(spent 1k and we were AI!)

Bit gutted I wasn't still there to see them win the World Cup as the atmosphere when they won the semi was awesome!!

They all went a bit daft and were throwing themselves in the pool!

    What have I missed??

Wow, that will be difficult. Do they think these will be permanent allergies, or baby-things?

It is surprising how quickly you get used to catering for allergies though. Between us and my parents we have 1 vegetarian (me - easy as I will eat anything so long as it is vegetarian - if it comes to it I'll go make myself a sandwich, I'm not fussed ;) ), 1 sugar alergy (my mum - not diabetes, but allergic to sugar properly... so no bread from the shop as it has a teeny bit of sugar in, no to any fruit that is sweet, but she can eat gooseberries and rhubarb without sugar - ick.) and DH can't eat chillies and peppers, and can't have tomatoes without having a tablet first. We have come to the conclusion that multiple options are the way forward. Even worse when my parents most frequent dinner guests come to dinner - add one banana allergy (him) and one coeliac (her). Blimey. (Reading back that wasn't meant to be a big whinge, more to reassure you that you will get used to the restrictions, and they will become a normal part of life that you take in your stride!).

Wow Lady, that is some allergy list - rather you than me! D could grow out of an of his allergies at any point up to about 3 years old....

I'm just lurking in the corner, collecting dust bunnies... nothing's wrong.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to distract from the issues at hand this evening. But Hammy, I was thinking and when I was a kid I had some serious allergies and my diet was cut back to incredibly bland stuff and new things were introduced one at a time. Would it help to do that with yours and see how David goes on?

Thanks SS, no that doesn't help because unless he grows out of it real quick then I still can't have a cheese or chocolate binge :rotfl:
Morning, I am writing to you live from my bed hehe!! Well we only had 1 wake up/feed last night at 1am so very pleased again :-) Off out this morning to meet some RL mummy friends at the park, hope the rain holds off!! Need to get my arris into gear, iPad plus bed equals a bad combo!!

Where is T when you are in bed? D would be crawling off the bed in seconds if I attempted that :rotfl:

Oh dear, I am starting to wonder about the allergy rash/blisters thing.... it is much worse again this morning and I am starting to think chicken pox . We have an appointment in an hour so I can find out either way :(

    Morning ladies

I'm not liking T's current sleep pattern. He's going down at 8.30-9is as normal (last feed starts at 8pm) and is waking at 5ish then refusing to go back to sleep again. I thought he was going to kick his way out of his moses basket this morning lol. I think his nappies may be the problem as they have smelt really strongly of wee so I've had to change him, which I don't normally do. Going to try a different type tonight to see if that helps, he's still in asda newborn.

No word from my friend yet about whether she's had her baby girl.

Haha he was led on the bed with me this morning when I was on here, he can't quite crawl yet but can move backwards quite fast when led on his back by digging his heels in so I'm having to be much more on the ball now!! He does think the iPad looks a good toy though and keeps trying to steal it off me :D

Really hope ur appt goes well xx
