    xx

I'm a dippy bint! I was meant to bring it Wednesday, why didn't you remind me? We're going away tomorrow, but could drop it off, along with your seat on our way if you're about.

If your car seat is a spare and you want to sell it, let me know.

Make sure you tell the doc everything when you see him. Having a baby of a different sex can really confuse your mind/hormones! When I had J I was scared because I didn't know any bsby boys!, and thought I wouldn't know what tondo with him!

Ladybird sorry to hear about your grandad. Hope you have a nice (as it can be) time with him tomorrow.

Hammy hope hospital goes well and fingers crossed for the neocate

    Sugar hope you're ok :)

Mel hugs for you. It isn't always like it is in the films with the massive rush of love right after the baby pops out and just because you had that before doesn't mean it's not ok that you didn't this time. Don't feel bad becuase you haven't had it yet, it will come xx

Thanks guys. I have had a bath with one of Izzy's ducks, finished my book (it had a happy ending, despite being quite harrowing all the way through the 3 books in the series) and I have some wine.

Have to call my Mum tomorrow morning before I take Izzy to nursery and find out what the state of play is. If he is still with us and lucid (and hospital allow kids) I will take Izzy to cheer him up. If not lucid and my Mum wants me to I will take izzy to nursery, then go on my own to give her some support. And if that doesn't happen I will resume the planned activities for my day off and paint my front door and finish spring cleaning the living room. Then maybe make a start on the kitchen.
He is allergic to all dairy and soya plus 1 or 2 as yet unknowns :(

I am so sorry about your Grandad, I hoe you and Izzy get to spend some quality time with him tomorrow

Enjoy your wine. I have a glass in my hand now. I am in bed with the lappy :D

Wow, that will be difficult. Do they think these will be permanent allergies, or baby-things?

It is surprising how quickly you get used to catering for allergies though. Between us and my parents we have 1 vegetarian (me - easy as I will eat anything so long as it is vegetarian - if it comes to it I'll go make myself a sandwich, I'm not fussed ;) ), 1 sugar alergy (my mum - not diabetes, but allergic to sugar properly... so no bread from the shop as it has a teeny bit of sugar in, no to any fruit that is sweet, but she can eat gooseberries and rhubarb without sugar - ick.) and DH can't eat chillies and peppers, and can't have tomatoes without having a tablet first. We have come to the conclusion that multiple options are the way forward. Even worse when my parents most frequent dinner guests come to dinner - add one banana allergy (him) and one coeliac (her). Blimey. (Reading back that wasn't meant to be a big whinge, more to reassure you that you will get used to the restrictions, and they will become a normal part of life that you take in your stride!)
Massive gentle hugs for you and David, Hammy. I don't really know what to suggest. Does David eat much food? Is it mostly formula that is the problem?

Hugs Ladybird. I'm sorry to hear about your Grandad. I didn't realise your OH worked a second job, but  at working 3 nights a week.

Yep - we knew someone who worked at the off-licence in town, where DH used to work a while ago. She scarpered, and DH volunteered to take some of her shifts on. I did tell him at the time that it was fine so long as he didn't take it out on me when he was tired. Hasn't quite worked though.
