Hugs, Mel. Good for you for going to the Dr.
I've just put this on the Fairy Exchange but I have an unopened box of baby rice and a sample pack of Heinz chicken stock cubes (the baby ones) if anyone would like either, or both then just pm me.
We've had lots of proper tears tonight, I think his teeth are still bothering him.
Only five weeks of mat leave left for me. I am actually fairlyabout it as the whole work thing couldn't have worked out better really, but it will be strange to leave my little man for 3 days a week. Need to try and do a few days before I go back properly as I need the pennies now my SMP has finished.

SJ I am broadbandless until Wednesday
Mel hun I hope you are okay. If it helps at all I was looking at posts from when Benjamin was born the other day (and Kai of course) and you were posting that Kai would only sleep in someone's arms at first until you found his 'happy place' as you called it - he loved his bouncy chair.
Ickle babies are hard bloody work. But it gets better...as soon as you find tea's happy place she will turn into a dream like Kai didxx

I remember Kai being in my arms alot...I think the key difference is, and this is going to sound awful, I loved holding/cuddling K.....I don't want to hold T:( As soon as she is fed I want her down somewhere, she hates the swing/the bouncy chair/the carrycot(in the day), the travel cot...she just hates everything...well that's what it feels like to me...I feel awful but I just haven't got that loving feeling I have had with all 3 boys and of course that makes me feel incredibly guilty and is one of the reasons I am in tears all the time....I hate myself for not feeling the overwhelming love that I had with the others....and what makes it worse is EVERYONE raving about her being a girl and telling me I must be so happy and how i've finally 'got my girl'....I feel like stabbing them all!!!!
I have cried at least 3-4 times every day since she is about 4-5days old. Today has been even worse, I have barely dried my eyes and i'm crying again.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Hugs for Mel and Hammy. You're doing the right thing going to the drs Mel, just make sure you tell them all this when you get there.
Thanks for the tip about Boots clearance stuff just being on the normal shelves Krystal. I was looking for a proper red clearance area too. I went to the one on the retail park and got a box of banana porridge for 50p and a couple of heinz sweet and sour chicken with rice for 33p each. They've got until 2011 so wil be fine when T is old enough lol. I'm gutted coz I bet the boots i was in yesterday had loads too only i was looking in the wrong place!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
