BM, just make sure she s getting a 'lesson' for that money and not just a pony ride. She can learn balancing right now and proper posture, so they should be getting her to keep her heels down and sitting tall without fidgeting. Don't buy a hat, they are expensive and quickly outgrown, riding schools have better ones than I could afford! eBay for riding boots, they don't last long so usually show very little wear. Rest of the stuff she wont need unless she starts competing and that wont be for a while yet anyway.
Thanks Tia, I didn't think to ask about that sort of stuff, Im sure once we go regular they will make sure she does all those things, first time is just getting them used to going on the horse without bubbling, but I think Keira was sitting quite good, but LOL at the stirrups, they were pretty much up the horses back

He's not a mind reader after all...

    Well he should be:p

No, but seriously....he wasn't asleep all that time, he was just 'chillin' apparantly, and given that she has only gone to sleep once after that feed, I feel that he could have at least popped down to check how things were! Especially as he 'apparantly' went to bed before midnight....although i'm yet to believe that, given if he felt the need to stay in bed most of the morning!

I know i've said it before but my daughter doesn't like me....not even 3wks old and she is a daddy's girl!! She has just been scream, scream, scream, for the last hour, nothing I was doing would calm her down...so I left her on the sofa to scream and made myself a cuppa...dh comes down, picks her up, and sits down with her...she goes quiet and settles immediately:cool:

    xx

  • MFD, did you accidentally post twice or does this need to be reported to MSE Towers as the return of a fault from last week?
Prob me posting twice LOL posting from my phone is a PITA.

Did everyone see my bathroom cleaning tip on fb? Saved myself a load of time and effort, rather pleased with myself :)

Just a quick hello as I should really be off cooking lots of healthy and nutritious delights for my son :A. Got some yummy veggies at the Farmers' Market so lots to work with.

Aless- we did a bit of CC to get H out of the habit of being rocked to sleep. We were lucky, I think as he only ever cried for about 10 minutes or so before going to sleep, but I'm fairly sure it is one of the things that has helped him get back into a better sleep pattern. I never really intended to be a CC'r but it just seemed to be the thing that H needed to help him learn to settle himself.

Well done on the bathroom cleaning, MFD. Would you like to come and do ours?

Hugs Mel, I'm T loves you very much. I hope OH is being more helpful today.

I just saw a teeny tiny baby in Tesco that I overheard the Mum saying was only two days old but I was a bit :( when I heard the Mum telling him he wasn't due a feed yet even though he was crying his eyes out. I am such a softy :rotfl:.

Do you have to be quite tall to wear a maxi dress? I've seen a few I liked but people have said that if you are short they look stupid on you, ALSO, do they make you look fat and or pregnant? I have enough trouble with OAPS asking if I'm pregnant as it is *snivvle*

Aww GISI that would have made me sad too. Maybe he wasn't hungry but I'm pretty sure a 2 day old baby is "due" a feed whenever he wants one!
