I'm not sure if I ever said, because I was a bit :o at being minorly controversial, but we did CC last Sunday night and since then we've been getting a million times more sleep.

Personally I wouldn't worry about being controversial if you've done something that has worked really well for you!! Worked well for Fitz and Holly too :)
Haha sj I only checked on him once when I woke about 5am. I'm sure I heard him a few times in the night and each time I though oh here we go, but he mustve settled himself as I went back to sleep. Maybe there was something in what the health visitor said about making sure I give him proteins at lunch and dinner...

I've got some washing in the machine too sj, go us!! Just about to give t his brekkie and make me and DH poached eggs for break, nom nom xx

I have my third load in now!! I'm already going off the idea of cleaning though lol. And yuk at eggs :p I can't eat eggs on their own. I can eat omelette so long as there's quite a bit of cheese in it and I can eat eggy bread though. I am a bit weird.

Hammy nice that you got a lie in, hope it kinda made up for your busy night.

Hmmm was going to say something else but have forgotten.

EA lovely pic of Lily :)

ETA Well done William! (I think lol)

Isn't it funny how with a newborn/young baby your whole life seems to revolve around sleeping

Very tired today.....T did her usual trick of not wanting to sleep after her middle of the night feed, so from 2am onwards I was trying to settle her. I lay on the duvet in the nursery with her and tried to doze, but she just wriggles and kicks and scratches, gave up in the end and went back downstairs. she fed at 6am and went back to sleep, by this time K was up shouting to get up, so brought him down too and we sat watching cartoons until the older two got up and all had breakfast.

I had been hoping dh would have got up about 8/9ish and could have done her next feed so I could go back to bed, no such luck.....he didn't get up until 10 o clock by which time I was already feeding her! I gave him such a look, and despite starting to talk late yesterday evening, we are now not talking again!! This is actually better than the huge row that we had not long after him getting up though.

Well, enough ranting from me (again) How is everyone? I see a few others have had bad nights/early mornings too:( ((hugs))

Bruno, will E settle back off without actually being picked up, say by patting/rocking? Only thinking about alleviating the clinging to you problem. fwiw K was awful when we had the heat up here, we are escaping it atm so I do feel for you.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Sorry to hear some of you had early morning wake-up calls.
Aless - really sorry to hear your news, I found it so hard when we had our dog put down, I cried for days.
BM - I loved the photos of Keira on the pony - Amelie's just started sitting on a friend's horse and going for short walks; she loves it!

Oooh, I'm excited - we're looking at booking a week's holiday for October half-term. DH reckons that we can stay for a week here in one of their posh A-frame lodges!!!
He's found a website where we can book considerably cheaper than on their site, but it's still a lot more than we would normally spend on a week's break in the UK - we normally do cheap and cheerful, but he reckons that we can put enough aside for the next few months to manage it and that we ought to have a treat...
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

I would bid... DH just started his own eBay account up and is selling a couple of games... Paypal are holding all his payments for 21 days or until he has good feedback from buyers... If you pay by paypal you'd be protected...

Mel, maybe if he was sleeping he might not have known you had a bad night... I would have woken Dave and asked him to get up with the girls... He's not a mind reader after all...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sorry to hear about your cat Aless. Hope your trip to the States helps DH take his mind off it.

Redstar - those lodges look lovely. We are still debating whether to book a holiday to Majorca. Can't decide whether we should be keeping all of our savings or treat ourselves to a nice break!

I am loaded with the cold. Holly is feeling much better now I think although still a bit grunty. I feel lousy though so DH is in charge today and I am staying in bed!

We went out for dinner to a Teppanyaki restaurant and it was absolutely fab! http://www.sapporo.co.uk/ (they have one in Liverpool & Manchester in case anyone down that way hasn't been yet).
My parents gave DH a £50 voucher for it for his birthday a few months ago - it was expensive so we would probably never have justified the cost ourselves, but it was worth it and I would go again for a special occasion. The chefs are amazing! We also went to pics to see Shrek 3D which was better than expected. Holly wouldn't go to bed for my parents though so it was about 11.30pm before we had her in bed. It meant DH got a lie in until 9.30 this morning though as it was his turn to get up with her! That never happens when it's me ha ha. And she never woke at all in the night either!
