We stayed in an Ibis hotel in London with both girls last year, the girl on the from desk was a bit of a tard (insisted we couldn't put the travel cot in the family room because they're only meant to sleep 3... We ended up telling her we would put it in the In-Laws room next door but when the porter came he was happy to put it in the family room...) but they were very accomodating in the dining room...
Thanks for that Sami... Might have to get C her own... She loves sitting on Aimee's at the momentA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

We stayed as a 4 in an Ibis in March and the website said that I needed 2 rooms. So I called the hotel and spoke to the manager who said that the room would accomodate the 4 of us easily. She then suggested that I book online for 3 of us (me, hubby and DSS) so I got the good web-rate and then called her back with my booking reference and she would ensure that there was a travel cot in the room.
Very accomodating staff - silly website!
Although for 6 of you you probably would need 2 adjoining rooms with a door in between them.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Hi Mel, we stayed in the Days Inn at Gretna Green for the 2 nights before our wedding. It was nice and cheap, clean, nothing fancy though. HTH!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0

Yep, that's it...we have stayed in a hotel family room for 4 and had K in the travel cot. most hotels allow a baby as extra but not 2 babies...and by then k will be 2.5yrs old anyway, so not rreally a baby!!
I am definitely thinking that going for a long weekend or a week holiday might be a good option anyway....it is in he summer holidays and a year away so plenty of time to save for it:)
Just looking around at holiday parks/cottages/lodges etc now.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

FBB - he didn't do it without me telling him that that is what I wanted to do (when the tickets went on sale yesterday) and then reminding him this morning to check that he had remembered!!!
But when it comes to birthdays and anniversaries I am a great believer in saying exactly what you want and reminding hubby to buy cards etc. No point in me refusing to remind him because it will only upset us both if he forgets.
Now I just need to sort out childcare and a cheapy hotel (in London )please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
