Have you been to the big cat rescue place on the IOW on your trips over? I hated that place because they had a HUGE python out near the door with no other way to get out  I almost hyperventilated!0 -
Morning Everyone *whistling happy tune*
Finally, T actually went back to sleep after her 3.30am feed, she fed at 11ish and was down by midnight, then woke at 3.30 and was back to sleep by 4.10 and then slept through till nearly 7.30am...I feel so much better for it:) (She usually won't sleep between 3-7!!)
Had her hearing test this morning which came back perfect, so all appts are over with now, HV is going to come back out to me next week to check i'm ok.... but that's all.
Has anyone gone to the slingmeet today? I should be able to make the one at the end of the month, I will try and keep the date clear. Dh has his mate over today, I am in two minds whether to nip out to a friends house for an hour, rather than sitting here listening to them talking politics and computer games!!
EA - Sorry for you BFN...if no AF in a few days I would test again:) Fingers crossed for you.
SS - Glad you have made a decision about staying where you are....I'm sure you feel better for it:)
Caz - Glad you got back safely, sorry to hear it was a nightmare journey though:(

We're off to the zoo, again! Making the most of our annual passes, plus we have reusable mugs which you can refill there for free. Very MSE if you're a coffee addict like me.
GISI we have membership too - give me a shout when you're going next and we will see if we can join you
We didn't get as far as the park - went via a few shops (including extra pop in to pets at home to say hello to the bunnies) and then she fell asleep on the way to the park, so have pushed her straight home. Sat down for a snack, then will try my luck at getting a nap too
Maybe we will try and get to the park this afternoon instead!

That sounds great! I think everyone round here with kids has a pass! I will definitely let you know.

Oooh, did someone mention Marwell?
I love Marwell, we went for the first time back in April when we visited the New Forest and had the most lovely day there. We were actually there for 4 hours which is a miracle as DH is dreadful normally and gets bored and wants to leave 45 minutes after we get to a place (worse than the children!), but we all loved it - particularly the giraffes!
We've had some good news and some bad news;
Good news; Freddie slept from 11pm to 6.20am which is definitely a record for us!
Bad news; I collected the car from the garage yesterday and handed over £750 for a new clutch and 2nd hand gearbox. Got up this morning and the car was leaking oil - took it back to the garage, where they looked over it and they think it's bad - the oil's dripping from the 'new' gearbox....
Oh well, too nice a day to dwell! I'm actually escaping out of the house tonight - going to watch 'A Comedy of Errors' being performed in the park. I'm just about to go and get some bits for a picnic to take with me...Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Has anyone got any recommendations for hotels/b&b's etc in or close to Gretna green? It is needed for my sisters wedding next year August 20th. TBH I am also considering a holiday cottage or similar and maybe staying for a weeks holiday!
My sister booked me a room in the hotel they are staying in, but it is expensive and doesn't cater for a family room for 6 anyway, so we would need to book 2 rooms (a family room for 4, and a normal room for 2) costing £250 per night in total and we need 2 nts!!!!!!!!!! I am not paying £500 for 2 nts in a hotel.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
