Wow EA. I didn't let DH near me till last month (mind you I did have all the stitches in the world ;) ). I'm sure it will take your body a little while to get back into a regular cycle again. Try to relax about it all (easier said than done I know), as getting stressed isn't going to help you at all. You've still got lots of time to have a small age gap :)

  • When I picked Benjamin up from the CM yesterday her husband answered and said that they were out in the garden (they always are!!). I went through and as I went outside I saw the CM running full pelt across the garden pulling Benjamin behind her in a little car with Benjamin holding a toy phone to his ear shouting 'HIYA' and laughing hysterically!!!

The poor CM was absolutely worn out and she said 'He likes it most when he goes really fast!' :rotfl::rotfl: No lovely CM - you like it best when you go really fast and make him giggle lots!!

Then in the car on the way home Benjamin was singing 'Row, row, row - AAARRRGGGHHH!!!'
Jumping straight from the beginning to the end of the song because they are the most fun bits!!

    Bless him!

Hmmm - they will be nice nappies!!

Speaking of fruit, I was chatting with a mummy friend at toddle group last Saturday and she was saying how her 20 month old daughter has had to go on laxatives because she was struggling to poo. Much aw-poor-thing-ing going on....then later on that morning she was saying how said child eats as many as 4 or even 5 bananas A DAY!!!!! Oh my god lady - no wonder the child can't poop!!! I give Benjamin one a day to keep him firm!!

Wow MFD, has she not heard of strawberries! Oh, speaking of strawberries - Izzy is starting to learn where her food comes from - she knows where the strawberry plants and raspberry plants in the allotment are, and tries to help herself :) By next year maybe we can get her digging the ground over, and helping with the weeding ;)

    Bless her!

Benjamin was picking and eating raspberries at the CMs yesterday! I keep saying I will take him a walk to the local PYO farm but I never seem to get around to it :o

He loves playing in the dirt at home, although his dad gets very tense about it, especially when he tried to eat the soil :rotfl::rotfl:

Ooh, PYO is a great idea MFD. I love PYO raspberries!

Much better evening and night here, 7-5 which has been a distant memory for a long time. I'm hoping that the CC/settling in the cot/not bringing him downstairs after bedtime are starting to have an effect although not counting my chickens yet.

Hugs for Soms finger as that sounds nasty. Hope it heals quickly for you.

We're off to the zoo, again! Making the most of our annual passes, plus we have reusable mugs which you can refill there for free. Very MSE if you're a coffee addict like me.

Sami, funnily enough, when in with Michael (still pregnant, Pre-Eclampsia) I was questioned on my diet as part of a study and was told I didn't eat enough dairy. Looking at that, 4 glasses of milk and 2 eggs! Bleurgh!

    With Chris I didn't eat.

With Amber, I was drinking milk for the heartburn and eating boiled eggs. So there could be something in it?
She did say she'd been recommending it for years :)
I have low BP that gets lower in pg tho, not sure it would be of any use to me but I did have an enormous amount of cereal/milk during both my pgs anyway :D

Sami, why is the implant gross? I would find the coil grosser! Plus it's a neat party trick to make it poke out to show people, lol. :p

    !
_pale_ I think you've answered your own question there!
The coil is a tiny lil thing that you aren't aware of day to day and is not really invasive to put in/take out. The implant makes me shudder at the thought of having, I'd rather give birth 10 times over than have something put in/under my skin _pale_ I don't 'do' needles and scalpels - ick!

I've heard about that - there's a lady whose blog I read who raves about it. Her eldest is 8 and she's pregnant with her sixth so she's had plenty opportunity to try it out.
:T I 'm so glad, I was a bit worried about the language of it putting people off but a few positive anecdotes help ignore that :D
