Forgot to say MOTM - I would also go for the nuchal scan. I had an amnio with ds1 as they thought they had spotted a problem at the 20wk scan.

Right off to make myself some brekkie....egg and bacon, yum

    xx

MOTM - Yes...My dad kicked me out, although he didn't even know for certain we were together...he was just an alcoholic psycho!!! I am 30, dh is 37....doesn't seem like any gap at all to me now, not like 15 and 22;)

OMG I just saw Tigs on Tele :D

:j:jHow exciting. I can't wait to watch the programme!

MOTM- bit morbid but do you have a will so that you can ensure Lucy receives what you would want her to, and you could also stipulate that you would like her to have guardianship.

Breakfast ideas- toast is a favourite here, but how about english muffins, or something like SJ's HM muffin recipe? Henry loves a bit of Croissant or Pain au Choc as a treat, but definitely not too often!

Henry slept 8-7 which he has never done before. He always wakes up between 5-6 so this is a big breakthrough for us :j.

That made me giggle. :rotfl: So you know if he stops whinging, it's time to call the Dr?

    The doctor? The ambulance

My wonderful baby not only slept from 9-7:45, she didn't stir in that time and insist on being brought into the grown up bed :j I was very ready to feed her when she finally woke up, and she was starving - but it was wonderful! I wish I'd gone to bed before 1am to get the full benefit though :rotfl:

    I saw Tigs too!!!!

Running around trying to get ready, my nephew at long last was admitted to hospital so they can investigate his sickness and weight loss, however a 'so called friend' posted on my sisters face book that there was nothing wrong with my nephew and it was my sisters doing. she told her she thought she had munchausens(sp?) cue steam coming out of my ears and les banning me from being anywhere near the computer or phone until the post had been removed! i am still in shock that someone can be so insensitive and due to it i have only had 2 hours sleep :( I am off to drop kids off at school and then head to the hospital for some moral support. All the finding out whats wrong wishes would be very appriciated!

Mel what a waste for one day??? how are you? are you getting any more sleep now?

3 i found the site by accident? i think i have sold my footmuff and was trying to find a purple one as cheap as possible lol!

I don't think its actually adoption when its step children, I think its about gaining parental responsibility but I may have read it wrongly http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Parents/Adoptionfosteringandchildrenincare/AdoptionAndFostering/DG_10021340
It looks like its more off a faff when there is an absent parent that isn't available to give their permission
Becles' husband has parental responsibility for her boys so she may know more about it.

How offensive Caz - I'm sure everyone who saw it will see it for what it was and that they find out what's going on with your nephew and put him right.

With the ring, i'm not sure if I should let her pick it or go ahead with an educated guess. I don't even know her ring size, she has small hands and fingers, but that tells me nothing :o
My OH got me a £2.99 ring from Argos for proposing and then we bought the proper one together afterwards. He managed to work out my ring size by comparing my finger with his fingers and then measuring round the bit of his finger that was the right size and looking up ring siz\es on the internet. But if she has rings already, you just need to borrow one.

SJ I think the original recipe asked for 400g but because I added dried fruit I cut it down and just dumped in a bit less than a cup.

    Thank you :A
You wanted to go through two pregnancies? Wow. What about it do you like the most?

I just loved being pregnant! And I knew I would before I even was. I was very lucky to have a pretty much completely straightforward pregnancy, I never got to the point where I was too big to get comfy, I slept really well (apart from the 2 nightly trips to the loo!). And amazingly, after spending pretty much my whole like thining I wanted 2 children, just after Alfie was born I thought I might actually like 3!

Anyone have any good fingerfood breakfast ideas for starting out, T likes toast but dont want to keep giving her that. Her holding skills are limited atm so cereal etc is out.

Bagels, mini shredded wheat softened with milk, banana, ripe pear fingers, porridge either on a loaded spoon or made into a pancake by just doing a small amount in the microwave for 1 minute in a small plastic (baby?) bowl without stirring so it goes solid, actual pancakes, eggy bread, ommlette, rice cake with cream cheese or avocado, or both, oatibix softened with milk

3 crumpets with loads of butter and a smear of marmite is my absolute favourite way to eat them!

8 years is a nice long wait, not sure i'd want to wait that long, but that commitment is good. We are 37 and 29, so half decent ages. Did people frown at you when you got together? Some people do us, when they learn of our age. I look a little younger than 37, Lucy looks around 26/7 i'd say, so we both look younger, but people think, even at our ages, 8 years is too much. Cheeky mares.
I'm 30 and OH is almost 37 and I don't think anyone has ever been funny about the age difference. I wonder if people assume you are older because you have so many children? (I had always assumed you must be in your forties until one day you mentioned being 37.)

Caz, what a bee-atch  I hope they get to the bottom of your nephew's illness, it must be very worrying for the family.

Well, for the second night in a row, Sophie has only woken once for a feed! Normally she wakes twice, which I've never really minded. Have to say, I kept waking up to check her though :o Poor thing is a bit bunged up, but instead of the snot coming out of her nose, it seems like it's going down her throat instead, so we have to watch her incase she starts gagging/ choking.

Age differences, I'm 30, and OH is almost 48. He's got a 19 year old son with his ex (who's been too scared to pick up his little sis, cos she looked so small when she was born)

    :heart2:Sophie May:heart2:
