i dont get low rate mobility - i reckon i should have qualified but im happy enough with mid-rate care - dont want to upset the applecart because of the risks of appealing a dla decision.

sayin this, my friend who i was in hospital with got low rate mobility for her needs and her problems/needs are very similar to mine.

im not after any more money,, but the bb would make life easier.

i would rather have a bb than low rate mobility. its would help me far more than an extra £18 a week would do. chucking money at a problem doesnt always help

So wont your disbracia not affect your driving? Seems to me that your just trying to get as much as you can for nothing. When did you actually LOOSE YOUR FREEDOM? You said your learning difficulties were not noticeed at school and your only 24.
I am not going to pay for a scooter for you but will be paying for part of your driving lessons via my tax.
Dont know what getting a scooter on the metro has to with anything, you cant get cars on either.
Just dont understand how no-one noticed your learning difficulties and you re able to go to colege etc but NEED a free car, free lessons and a blue badge!

oh and dont worry over your tax and driving lessons moblity is a charity

i have just started losing my fredom as of past 6 months to a degree but last few weeks its geting really bad, tromodol didnt work for the pain but was dignosed with hms 2 years ago with no ill effects just my knees giving me bother which i have had since i was a kid

disbracia look it up !!! iam clumsy , hand eye cordnation is off to a degree
and school didnt pick it up which iam not inpressed over but thats the schools job not mine but but infact was a student teacher that had dyslexia also not dignosed till week before as-levels, and i only just got in for alevel by me having a letter staying i was 2 marks of a c, disbracia was found out at the second assesment at nearly 19

depression kicked in from very young but i had worked from being 11 to 19 made reduntant from last job after nearly 3 years
Post trumatic stress as part of the assualt at 19
all though this was at college and tryed to do uni course which i left support wasnt there for note taker as report was in march completed and was to far behind, ocd found out there
then was forced to leave home,
    allagys and asthma on top
i worked for a year on and off redunant agin at 21
then went back to uni nana and granda died 7 month apart while on course add that to mental health dyslexia and disbracia hard work was advised to start again in sept
i was declined entry on mental health grounds

i was claming dla and IS for my mental health only at middle care and lower moblity

hms dignosed in 2008 wasnt told much this is when i got my dog

now iam having troble walking far but always in pain to some degree, i struggle at times to walk her but i do it because i love her but 90% of time its not me that takes her out but dad , neboughs and dog walker if iam stuck i wouldnt have get her if i knew this was going to happen

gp now thinks M.E or fibromyalgia

now on hrc and lrm, have aids to get in and out of bath thats IF i can even do that why i have been fighting for a shower of OT,

the dyslexia and disbricia i just roll my eyes at the rest i hate more than anything , i didnt ask for this and dont want to wish this on anyone ,

a car for me would make life so much easyer i could go swimming and to hydro as have musle wastage all over , this would help me to get around a bit easyer then so i might not need to have hrm for long , go to appointments which atm i have lost count of

also btw i will be doing college this year to do acess so i dont have to go back to where i was studdying before for higher results than what my a-levels were which i completed!!!

In our area you can't park for free in council carparks unless you have a free tax disc, I think that means you need HRM but I am not sure. If you are local and have a free tax disc you can get a free carpark pass, which my husband has. It certainly helps.

I get low rate, I had a medical, and I have a blue badge.

ive already explained about 5 times in this thread

i dont want it for disabled parking spaces, full stop. i dont want to take up designated bays somewhere like a supermarket.

i want to use it on double or single yellow lines in urban places like town where the nearest car park might be a mile away.

walking through town is like emotional torture to me :(

it would make my life quite a lot easier if i could just drop by the oharmacy or whatever, pick up my prescription and just get in and out without having to see many people.

bipolar, ocd and anxiety all have there own individual disabling features

20 mile commute to where? OP does not work and looks like has no intention of work. Igf you were desperate to get your freedom back you would not care what mode of transport you had. You'd get out there with a zimmer frame if you REALLY wanted to get out.
There an old guy here in Coventry that is doubled over and uses an OLD BIKE
to enable him to walk. You see him most days walking around coventry at around 1mph . He could probably get a mobilty car, blue badge etc etc etc but he chooses to kep HIMSELF mobile and hes about 70 odd.
This girl is on 24 and THINKS she has every problem under the sun and wants hand outs left right and centre!!!
Doesn't even go to college according to some of hr first posts on this site (but reckons she does in this thread ?!!!)
Her laerning dificulties only appeared when she failed her exams at 19 which suggests she must have been ok up til then , (She would have had to pas exams to get into college in the first place so no problems then)
All her threads on this forum are looking for advice how to get this, how to get that. I think she's a blagger.

a bike hmm funny considering i have issues with BALANCE , and no school wasnt fun being in the classes with all the idoits thats didnt want to learn teachers were always puzzled as results to tests in class i would get but never put two and two together
on my iq i should have flew thought my exams

and advice that why everyone is here
