It would make it easier for all involved; so those who need to be near to entrances or dropped kerbs get certain limitations, those who need to park right outside their home or on single/double would get different limitations etc. Just to ensure that it's a bit more carefully controlled. So therefore, those who are suffering from panic attacks etc that don't have mobility issues as such won't be entitled to park in easy access bays. If the councils had a list of criteria and you could meet anything from one to all of them, that would dictate what type of badge you got. It's just an idea. Any improvement on the current system would be helpful.Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0

It's the one size fits all approach that doesn't work. CLEARLY demonstrated by the posts on this thread! As the scheme stands, you're either disabled or you're not.....anyone think that's an accurate representation of disability?Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0

But I am disabled accordng to th DDA 1995 and the chronically sick and disabled persons act 1974.
it's not an accurate representation of disability - I have to tick the box on application forms that ask if I have a disability.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
