I got that! It is hideous isn't it? My Oh calls it the Amish dress.

Mine came today ordered 18/09 size 12
1 lilac 3 button high collar top
    1 denim 3/4 trouser
1 green patterned wrap around skirt
    1 light brown maxi skirt
1 dark green shirt that has a sash belt
    1 wooden bangle

    Quite pleased with the lot

Mine came today, ordered 24th and sounds quite similar!

1 lilac 3 button high collar top
    1 denim 3/4 trouser
1 green patterned wrap around skirt (not sure it's me, but i'll try it on)
    Brown long sleeved v-neck t-shirt
Grey & black check sleeveless top with elasticated hem. (Again, not me, but looks nice on)
    Green people tree logo t-shirt
    Hideous hand knitted hat! :rotfl:

I think i'll have a trying on session and then decide weather to send it back or not.

  • My second bag arrived yesterday and it contained:-
    1. Short sleeve red v neck tshirt (OK I like red)
    2. Long sleeved scoop neck yellow/green tshirt (v handy)
    3. Purple stripe sleeveless top (hideous, won't be keeping)
    4. Red tie die style sun dress (really not sure about, will have to try on and see)
    5. Notepad
    6. 2 tone metal squares necklace on a fine leather strap (looks good on)

So far I was quite disappointed and thought I may well send the bag back, then I opened my last item
    7. A truely gorgeous black cotton jacket with hidden buttons and unusual cross over sleeves - can't describe it but LOVE it!
Well worth the £30 for the jacket alone, needless to say I'm now keeping the bag, and will either give away or ebay the items I don't like.

I don't usually post but as I've been reading this thread with interest I thought I'd share what I got in my goody bag.

Ordered a size 12 on 30th September and it arrived today containing:

1 black jersey high neck top (with the 3 buttons down back) nice but I don't wear high necks
1 knee length tweed skirt, not my usual style but fab and would look good with the black top
1 yellow, olive green patterned cotton halter neck, will wear next summer
1 linen maxi skirt, pale green with embroidery near hem. Love it.
1 brown jersey top that would look great with maxi skirt that is labelled medium but has a sticker on to say its small, have emailed to ask if can exchange this item.

Good value for £30, not sure how much wear I will get out of it, thinking of altering the black top to a kind of reverse collar. And meant to say I'm a larger 12 and it all fits really well.

I ordered my goody bag on the 1st Septmeber and it still hasn't turned up. I have contacted People tree who asked me to check with neighbours and the post office, which I have but to no avail:(
I have contacted People tree again to see if it is possible to still get a goody bag or a refund.

Gutted as was really looking forward to it and had ordered a t shirt for my holiday, which is all to late now:(

Fingers crossed they will resend my order as I was looking to place an order for some autumn clothes but want to see how this order is handle before I spend in excess of £200 ion more clothes

  • I've just ordered my bag in a size 10, I'm more a 10 than a 12 so hope it works out. Fingers crossed! I'm actually really excited! Will come back when I receive my bag....I have noticed though that the smaller sized bags seem to get less items according to posts...Has anyone else noticed this & is it something that should be mentioned to people tree?

i got my size 8 bag and was quite disappointed with my 5 items. all of them seem to be very weird size 8's. i got a strapless top which im sure wouldnt even fit an 8 year old never mind a size 8. everything else was huge and i got a hideous scarf too. but i guess that's the chance you take. it is all going on ebay :rotfl:

Just got a reply back from People tree to say

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately the goody bags have been extremely popular and have now sold out so I will refund you for your order.

    Apologies for any disappointment.

So thats 5 weeks of waiting for my order to arrive with nothing to show. Have to say I am disappointed and have now been put off ordering the few items I had picked out from their Autumn collection. :-(

Has anyone else has this issue or was I just unlucky?

  • Forgot to post back about my delivery.

I came within about a week, which is not bad.

    I was sent:
Linen trousers, too small and almost identical to a pair I already own
t-shirt with cute print of girl on bicycle
top in pink and purple print
wrap skirt, nice shape but didn't like the print, green and yellow spider plant inspired!
    Lovely necklace

I sent mine back because for the wear I would have got it wouldn't have been worth it. So sort of money saving!
