Woohoo! Got my first Goody Bag this morning (size 8), and already tempted to buy a second.
I got:
- (Coffee) Brown short-sleeved T-shirt
- Black Trousers (No picture yet, can't get lighting right)
- Long blue strapless dress & white sash with a floral decoration.
- Black and White patterned wraparound dress
- Dark green tunic with tie-dye decoration on the bottom
- Red/White beaded ring
- Handmade wooden necklace.
Over the moon with my selection. Only thing I won't wear is the Black trousers. They're fantastic quality but too high waisted for my liking and also quite long for my short height! Will probably ebay them.
Absolutely love the rest of the clothes!
The T-shirt I'm wearing now.
The Blue dress is lovely (not something I'd have looked twice at in a store) but I put it on and love it. BF loves it too, so I will be wearing it to dinner when we eat out!
The wraparound dress (again not something I'd pick up usually) I thought looked 'nice' in the packet, then put it on and looks quite nice.
The Green tunic (another item I would not have considered if I saw it in a shop) but looks quite cool on.
As for the jewelery, it was a lovely surprise at the bottom of the bag! So 6 out of 7 things isn't a bad keep. I'd say definitely worth it. :T
(Also, if you want to view the pictures try going to Photobucket and looking for my username "lsdormody". I can't post the links here as I'm still a 'new user'. Sorry!)0 -
Got mine today (size 8), received the following:- (Coffee) Brown short-sleeved T-shirt
- Red/White beaded ring
- Handmade wooden necklace.
-Very dark navy blueish 3/4 sleeve, tight v neck top
- Navy blueish short sleeve jumper with very low v neck and 2 front pockets
- Teal long sleeve jersey top
- Cream knitted hat (no bobble!)
- Cream bora asku blouse - very odd, has a high neck which zips up the back (which I couldn't do up on my own!), there are 2 long ties attached to the collar which I presume you are supposed to tie into a bow, the sleeves are funny shaped and puffy at the top and tight on the forearms (infact too tight on my forearms, which I used to think were fairly slim but now I'm doubting!). Looked ridiculous on and couldn't wear anyway as a) can't do the zip up on my own and b) too tight on my arms, so it will have to be re-homed.
All in all, I'm happy with my lot, will wear all apart from bora asku top and beaded ring. Bit disappointed I didn't get a skirt, dress, jacket or notepad but can't complain. Quite tempted to order another one once they are back in stock. I like how, thanks to the goody bag I will now be wearing things I wouldn't have normally.
Here is a link to Titch's pics http://s1021.photobucket.com/albums/af335/lsdormody/Clothes/ , I i will try and post some pics tomorrow too.0 -
They said they would be back in stock by the end of this week I looked out for them everyday this week and all that is in stock is 12 and 16?!?! I've not had one yet, and I've been trying and still can't order one0

Just had an email from them - 'I am afraid whilst we are still hoping that we will get more goody bags, those that were made this week have only been able to fulfill some of the back orders we were holding. At this point unfortunately I am unable to confirm exactly when we will have more available'

Hi all!
jumped out of lurkdom to post on my goody bag as I was so disappointed
I got in mine :-
a red short sleeve t shirt
a brown short sleeve t shirt
a black long sleeve t shirt
a purple sleeveless t shirt (see a theme here?!)
a broken necklace which I just binned
a black knitted cardigan which fits everywhere apart from the sleeves being too short?!
Luckily I can use the cardigan for a Christmas present for someone who is the same dress size as me but is shorter, so the sleeves should look ok on her.
I was so impressed with the nice things other people got, but getting 4 t shirts in various colours is not something I would have chosen. Although they do fit, and can always be worn under jumpers/cardigans in winter so I'll probably get the use out of them.
Wouldn't buy another goody bag thoughcarpe diem

Sorry to hear about that. I would have been disappointed with t-shirts too, although your cardigan sounds ok.
Could it be because they are running out of stock?0 -
Can I ask please how the sizing is? I wear an 8-10 so could plausibly order a size 8 bag - but not if the sizes come up small.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Sugarspun, I would go for the size 8, as they tend (apart from the odd item) to be on the generous size.0

I got mine today and I got this as well! I've put it on backwards with the zipper undone so it makes a v-neck (although I'll have to unpick the label) and the ribbons hang loose. I've also unpicked the straight part of the sleeve and it looks much better without... I may also unpick the bow part and sew it up to make a tie for the waist. The fabric is gorgeous, it's like an ivory striped silk, which is probably the only reason I'm going to the effort of remaking this!
I also got the beaded ring and wooden necklace, along with an oddly shaped skirt (sticks out at hips, such a shame because the fabric and embroidered waistline is amazing), a long green skirt (not my thing) and a v-neck collared navy T-shirt and a pair of black leggings.
I actually really like mine, although I'm annoyed about the weird skirt... It's given me a chance to try out things I'd never have otherwise. I'll definitely be checking out People Tree in future. I have to admit I don't give a monkeys about organic fabric and Fairtrade (I know, it's really bad but it's just not one of those things that enters into my mind half the time) but I do appreciate a well-made garmet in good quality fabric. And their range seems to do really well with some good, basic shapes, which I'm trying to acquire more of!0
