So my bag arrived today (technically yesterday - was at post office!), I already knew it would be late as they emailed me to say they needed to make more.
I got:
1. Pair of khaki 3/4 harem pants - I don't own any harem pants & wouldn't, but these are nice & comfortable & will work well on my holiday.
2. Pair of 3/4 cotton pants - they LOOK denim, but they aren't (imo).
3. Knee length tulip skirt, black with ring pattern & ethnic style waist - v.cute & simple, again will look nice on hols.
4. Really awful green skirt, ankle length with a daisy pattern near the hem.....Work mate has said to wear as a dress & belt it. Will try this & see how it looks later, may however end up altering it...don't think it'd be so bad as a shorter plain skirt.
5. Stone coloured short sleeved scoop neck T - Again simple.
6. What I have seen described as a horrid swirly patterned halter top in green, lemon & brown....I think it's gorgeous! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BNWT-People-Tree-wrap-around-skirt-green-size-14-/190457773495?pt=Women_s_Clothing&hash=item2c582afdb7 (this is the pattern on a skirt)
As mentioned before I will be going on holiday soon(ish) & this will look very nice in Grenada!
7. A wooden oval & diamond shaped necklace
I think whoever put my bag together had a theme in mind as I find my bag has lots of ethnic/boho inspired pieces...I wouldn't have bought all these items, but sent together means I have a few pre planned outfits.
I like this bag enough to do this every time they put them together I think. I can honestly say I wouldn't buy anything like this normally, but I can 'see' how the items go together or with things I already own & it's nice to try a different look.Debt £16,000

I got mine today and I got this as well! I've put it on backwards with the zipper undone so it makes a v-neck (although I'll have to unpick the label) and the ribbons hang loose. I've also unpicked the straight part of the sleeve and it looks much better without... I may also unpick the bow part and sew it up to make a tie for the waist. The fabric is gorgeous, it's like an ivory striped silk, which is probably the only reason I'm going to the effort of remaking this!
I also got the beaded ring and wooden necklace, along with an oddly shaped skirt (sticks out at hips, such a shame because the fabric and embroidered waistline is amazing), a long green skirt (not my thing) and a v-neck collared navy T-shirt and a pair of black leggings.
I actually really like mine, although I'm annoyed about the weird skirt... It's given me a chance to try out things I'd never have otherwise. I'll definitely be checking out People Tree in future. I have to admit I don't give a monkeys about organic fabric and Fairtrade (I know, it's really bad but it's just not one of those things that enters into my mind half the time) but I do appreciate a well-made garmet in good quality fabric. And their range seems to do really well with some good, basic shapes, which I'm trying to acquire more of!
I think the skirt that sticks out at the sides is a tulip skirt & is supposed 2 stick out...Good to wear with vests etc.
The long green skirt sounds like mine!Debt £16,000

Woohoo! Got my first Goody Bag this morning (size 8), and already tempted to buy a second.
I got:
- (Coffee) Brown short-sleeved T-shirt
- Black Trousers (No picture yet, can't get lighting right)
- Long blue strapless dress & white sash with a floral decoration.
- Black and White patterned wraparound dress
- Dark green tunic with tie-dye decoration on the bottom
- Red/White beaded ring
- Handmade wooden necklace.
Over the moon with my selection. Only thing I won't wear is the Black trousers. They're fantastic quality but too high waisted for my liking and also quite long for my short height! Will probably ebay them.
Absolutely love the rest of the clothes!
The T-shirt I'm wearing now.
The Blue dress is lovely (not something I'd have looked twice at in a store) but I put it on and love it. BF loves it too, so I will be wearing it to dinner when we eat out!
The wraparound dress (again not something I'd pick up usually) I thought looked 'nice' in the packet, then put it on and looks quite nice.
The Green tunic (another item I would not have considered if I saw it in a shop) but looks quite cool on.
As for the jewelery, it was a lovely surprise at the bottom of the bag! So 6 out of 7 things isn't a bad keep. I'd say definitely worth it. :T
(Also, if you want to view the pictures try going to Photobucket and looking for my username "lsdormody". I can't post the links here as I'm still a 'new user'. Sorry!)
Had a look at your pics, love the necklace and the dresses
I have ordered 4 bags now and never been lucky enough to get any dresses or jewellery.
Glad you did so well :j0 -

Yeah, I've seen skirts like it before, but I don't know what I think of them on me, to be honest!
I tried the green skirt as a dress, and it's way way better that way, especially with a belt!0 -

I tried it on with my plain stone coloured tshirt tucked in...for a style I've never worn before I was unbelievably happy with the look!
You maybe surprised!
I still have yet to try on the green skirt, what colour belt did you use?Debt £16,000

Just found pics of a couple of my items from last time..FelinePrincess wrote: »Got mine today (size 8), received the following:

-Very dark navy blueish 3/4 sleeve, tight v neck top
- Navy blueish short sleeve jumper with very low v neck and 2 front pockets
- Teal long sleeve jersey top
- Cream knitted hat (no bobble!)
- Cream bora asku blouse - very odd, has a high neck which zips up the back (which I couldn't do up on my own!), there are 2 long ties attached to the collar which I presume you are supposed to tie into a bow, the sleeves are funny shaped and puffy at the top and tight on the forearms (infact too tight on my forearms, which I used to think were fairly slim but now I'm doubting!). Looked ridiculous on and couldn't wear anyway as a) can't do the zip up on my own and b) too tight on my arms, so it will have to be re-homed.
