Of those bags arriving at the moment, when were they ordered? I ordered mine on Monday so I'm rather excited.

    You've got a long wait yet!!! :):):)

Mine were ordered on 8th Sept, and I got one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

I ordered another on Monday (20th Sept) and don't expect it until first week in Oct.

Mine came today and I'm a bit disappointed. I got 4 tops and a dress, which would be fine but the dress doesn't even remotely fit, so really I paid £30 for 4 jersey tops which isn't what I think of as great value.

(2 roll neck tops, 1 camisole, 1 blue & black strip top)

I'd be tempted to send it back but then I'm £5 out of pocket for delivery.

would like to win a holiday, please!!

  • I ordered mine on the 17th September and it's just arrived. I'm a bit disappointed, but that's the chance I took ordering blind.

I got the red and black roll neck tops other people have been getting, a brown v neck t shirt, a hand knitted hat and a pea green mini skirt in a t shirt material. I'd really been hoping for a long wrap skirt. If the red and black tops fit I'll be keeping them and sending the rest to a charity shop - I can't really see them selling on ebay. Win some, lose some!
  • I ordered a People Tree goody bag on Sept 8th & picked it up from the PO Sept 18th.

The bag was a size 16 bag (I'd have preferred 18, but the website wouldn't let me order one although they were meant to be available).

Pretty pleased with my bag, I got...
    * navy blue vest top
    * grey tunic-style vest top with red swirly pattern, lovely
    * black short-sleeved cotton/silk mix blouse with a tie front, really nice
    * black knee length dress, fabric is hand-woven, has red & blue threads running through it like tweed & it ties just under the bust
    * red jersey sleeveless dress - this is the only item I'm unsure about, I love the colour but it has an elasticated hem which makes it look a bit like a bag on! - it might be alright with leggings.
    * and a People Tree notepad

The blouse & dress are a wee bit small, but I intend to shrink into them! Everything else fits well & is mostly stuff I wouldn't have dared to order for my jeans & t-shirt wardrobe.

I'll definitely be ordering another bag at some point, £6 per item (plus the bonus notepad) for fairtrade & organic cotton clothes is pretty good value.

I finally got my cancelled size 14 bag.

    In it is

    1) Another paid of hideous close fitting genie style trousers - this time in a pretty green coloutr

    2) a vest top like this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEOPLE-TREE-cotton-silk-button-cami-vest-FAIR-TRADE-8-/250691257572?pt=Women_s_Clothing&hash=item3a5e5d0 which is a little tight

    3) A red and yellow flowery shirred dress - I think I have the perfect place to wear this

    4) A long wrap dress in navy blue with swirls - it is not something I would have looked at twice but it is gorgeous on

    5) A Navy tunic top/dress thing with embroidered flowers on the bottom left. I love it.

    And a notebook.

I was concerned that the second box would be duff, as the first had been good and I have read some people on here getting all tops etc, but this box was even better than the first, I am delighted with my lot.

    I'd definitely try this again.
  • I had been watching this thread from the start but as a bit of a nevous shopper decided not to go for it, until it was my birthday last week and got some money so I thought I'd go for it. I ordered on Tues afternoon (21st) and it arrived this morning which I was amazed at because people seem to be waiting a couple of weeks.

I have to say I am really pleased with it, I got (size 14)

    1. Green plain short sleeved t-shirt - put this straight on this morning, its lovely and soft
    2. Mustard yellow short sleeved top with big cowl neck and a tie waist in t-shirt material- only thing I'm not so keen on is the elasticated sleeves but its still a nice top.
    3. White cotton top quite see through with navy butterflies, sleeves to the elbows, it like a kaftan but shorter. I love it
    4. A pair of grey tailored trousers with a tie belt. Very nice and fitted perfectly but they go in at the ankle a bit so makes me a bit self concious - I try to even out my bum with wider bottomed trousers!!
    5. A lovely dress, about knee length, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ladies-People-Tree-Organic-Cotton-Dress-Size-12-BNWT-/330476280982?pt=Women_s_Clothing&hash=item4cf1ebdc96
    6. Square black wooden beaded necklace, in offers for £10 down from £20
    7. Knitted beaded neclace in duskys pink and purples
    8. Notebook

I think that I have a lovely selection of everything and it definatley means I own things that I would never have chosen, I can see why people have bought another.....the temptations!!!
  • Mine arrived today, size 10 ordered 20th Sept:

1 black high collar top (three buttons down the back)
1 red high collar top (three buttons down the back)
1 black jacket - my favourite of the bag
1 green patterned skirt -looks better on than expected
1 black t-shirt -should be rather useful

I can't say I agree it's worth the £100 but paying £30 I'm relatively happy. Not entirely sure what I'll do with the high collared tops though.

    1.blue patterned wrap around skirt
    2.beige camel pants (urgh)
    3.plain v neck t-shirt
4.lovely bright green patterned smock top with pockets (a bit on the snug side. esp the arms)
5.pale lilac buttoned floor length t-shirt material nightie??? (hideous)

copied from lucasmum as received the same;)
    6. Square black wooden beaded necklace, in offers for £10 down from £20

to be fair i think the contents are worth the £35ish, but i'm undecided bout sending it back as i'd only wear the t-shirt and the smock (not on a fat day though and i would need to alter the arms), will think on it

I got that! It is hideous isn't it? My Oh calls it the Amish dress. I might try and dye mine to make it a wearable dress. I thought it was a dress not a nightie!
