Ours comes round once a week. The day was apparently.. well i guess yesterday (00:07).

You can hear him coming a mile off -.-''

I did see him later on in the day at tesco fueling up. He apparently collects lots of ironing boards/cookers/washing machines and microwaves.

Ohh, I get it now. I saw a Transit pick-up drive round my friend's road quite quickly the other day. We exchanged pleasantries as his mate knocked on a house. Wondered what all the old radiators and various plumbing stuff was doing in the back. Now I know they were knocking on houses looking for scrap :D

I'm afraid it will only get worse. The price for scrap metal just keeps going up. These guys are earning over £300 a day.
I work for my local council and it's costing a fortune to keep replacing man hole covers. These people will take anything if they can get away with it. Country's like China and India have a massive demand at the moment for raw materials. All this scrap metal is being melted down and sent there.
I have even heard that some folks have even had there door knockers stolen...

working on building sites is horrible with these !!!!! around, they'll pinch the herris fencing, which then leaves the site open for kids/thieves etc., they even dismantled a 2 ton scaffold took the poles and left the boards, absolute !!!!!!!s.

I noticed someone had seen them filling up there van with diesel from a garage, I'm shocked, they usually use red diesel(a lot cheaper, also illegal)
If at first you don't succeed, maybe bomb disposal isn't the best career choice.
