What is acceptable to wrap items in as a seller on Ebay

I have sold these types of items on eBay lots and either use jiffy bags or thick brown paper bought from the post office. I've never had any complaints thus far. :j0

My top tip is to go to the Post Office and ask for a selection of Special Delivery Silver Envelopes. All you need to do then is turn inside out, cut down the side as far is necessary to fold over and you can then use the self seal end. I send nearly all my items in these and it is free. I usually write the address on the bottom of the order details slip cut it off and stick on parcel and slip rest of order details inside parcel. I also have sender address labels printed for a small fee from my local stationers. Good luck0

That's a bit cheeky, those are for people using SD, not for everyone to use for any old service.
It's not like postage bags are big money anyway."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I recycle jiffy bags and boxes to pack my ebay sales (I am a private seller). I collect bubble wrap from parcels I receive and get my colleague to give it to me from their work parcels.
I handwrite the address labels on plain paper and insert a handwritten thank you note. I do not send printed invoices as I am not a business seller, just clearing my unwanted goods.
I've not had any complaints about recycling packaging - I only use tidy recycled packaging and I seal it up well. My pricing is as close to cost as I can get it - I use luggage scales to weigh the item with some packaging then use the ebay price estimator.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Brilliant guys thanks.
For items that i have that are wrapped etc and have lables on. I'm going to say no refund if packaging is damages/labels are removed.
I think that is fair enough.0 -

Probably better to avoid that as if the item is damaged in the post or faulty they will probably have to unwrap the item to find that out."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
