Have you got one of those phones that connect to the internet, you could shop between contractions or if you're really lucky have your baby before your allotted time and then know if you're buying clothes for a boy or a girl .

For those of you wondering 'why' you have not had a VIP slot, here is the following reply I have just received from NEXT. They really are not worthy of the amount customers spend with them. Each month I pay in excess of £80, regularly order and meet the so called 'criteria'. A very unfair system!

I am sorry that you were not selected to receive a priority e-mail to place your order over the internet prior to our Sale.
We use the selection criteria below to determine the volume of customers that we can invite to take part in our VIP Sale:

You must have received a copy of the current season's Directory.

you must have an e-mail address registered to the account and have previously agreed to receive marketing e-mail literature.

The remaining credit on your account should be greater than £300.

You must have placed an order this season and must have previously ordered online.

You must have a Next Directory Flexible Account and payments should be up to date.
However, meeting this criteria does not guarantee a VIP sale slot for all customers.

I do hope that this information is useful to you and that you will continue to shop with us in the future.

Doesn't make any sense as I meet all their criteria and once again have not received a slot.

Well well well suddenly I am getting a VIP slot, just got an e-mail saying I can have a slot from 6pm tomorrow. I suspect Next have had so many complaints this year they are worried people will close their accounts due to not getting a VIP slot and suddenly others are getting them.

Hi

I recieved a leaflet from Next informing me that their sale starts Saturday 17th July. Many stores will be open from 5am(eek!) but the online sale doesn't start till 8am.

Certain lucky ones have been invited to the VIP preview (me included ) which starts tonight!
Not sure how you get picked for the VIP preview as I know other customers that didn't get the leaflet or the email invite but I've had it the past 3 sales!

No, it won't work (tried it last year), you can only start typing in the codes when your slot starts, . You have to log in to enter your account and the sale (which you cant do until your slot starts), if you add things to quickshop when you log in to start shopping in the sale the items will be gone from your quickshop and you have to start typing them all again.

Forget the sale and look forward to the birth of your baby,. You'll get lots of new baby clothes from friends and family and I bet you can live without anything you were thinking of buying
