I don't remember so many people cancelling their accounts at previous sales due to not getting VIP slots - I wonder if this will make Next reconsider how the slots are allocated? I'm not aware of any other companies who operate such sale schemes.

Personally for me, I feel there's something not very fair with their system. Have not received a VIP invite at all in the past year when some people (including my friends) get them each and every time. Enough is enough I'm afraid so I choose to close my account.

Hi spoke to Next today, they confirmed that if there are things you want to secure quickly, order them and check out straight away, then log back in and carry on, if something you want sits in your basket for ages it's more likely to sell out, they said when you have finshed all your shopping call customer services and they will deduct all but one charge for delivery, also you can log in and out of the sale as many times as you like during your allotted time slot, hope this helps!!

    Happy Shopping :D

I work for Next and I can confirm that our sale strts this Sat 17th July, but it actually starts at 5am!!! So for those desperate for a bargain, it means a very early start!

If you go to http://www.next.co.uk/storesearch.asp you can search stores and they have the opening times for Saturday on there. I looked at several near me, some are 4am, some 5am and some 7am.

No, thats what I was calling next for, I want some large items that will probably sell out quick, but I have loads of other stuff I want too, she said customer services would be able to see that all the shopping is from the vip sale and deduct the other delivery charges, as you check out though it will show as being added, only CS can remove this later.:T

Usually when the VIP sale goes live, which is grrrrrr cos you can't look before hand.

The Electricals were there for about an hour when the listings first went live then disappeared!
