This is really strange - i've just done the same, and have a timeslot! it says "Time Slot Confirmed - Wed, 7pm - 11pm", however I never even picked this???? confused! not complaining about it of course, just strange as I never had a VIP just an hour ago, and now I do? and this was after phoning CS and them saying there was nothing that could be done.
Glad it worked for you hun!0 -

I thought this may interest some of you. I emailed Next CS as I was annoyed that they promote paperless bills and being green yet I am penalised for not having a directory (trying to be green). This is the reply I got which completely contradicts what they say their VIP sale critera is:
Thank you for your e-mail.
I am sorry you have not been selected for the VIP Sale.
I can confirm the criteria is not based on selection of customers who receive the directory.
We use a selection criteria based on stock levels and the range of products available to determine the volume of customers that we can invite to take part in our sale priority. Customers that are invited for the sale are selected on a random basis. A selection criteria is not used to decide which customers are chosen and factors such as how much a customer spends, payments made and the time they have been a customer are not taken into consideration.
Customers can register their interest in being invited to the Internet sale by logging onto next.co.uk, then selecting "my account". This will display a page showing your registered email address and a selection of 4 email preferences. To ensure you are considered for selection for future Internet sales, you will need to place a tick in the box of "send me emails of offers and promotions" and "confirm my orders by email".
Although I cannot guarantee you will automatically be selected for our next VIP Internet sale, this will however update our records to show that you wish to be invited for any future Internet events.
Once again, I am sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.0 -
^^ that is total bs from Next they quite clearly have criteria they even say so themselves on their website0

I got exactly the same message when I complained although I met with all of the so called criteria. My friend who only orders at Christmas gets an invite every time so much for customer loyalty. I spend, sorry used to spend hundreds every year but not any more.0

strange, this is what I was told by email yesterday
Thank you for your e-mail.
Our VIP sale service is only available to a limited number of customers. Priority has been given to our Flexible Account Customers who have a Next Directory however due to our huge customer base not every customer that meets the criteria will be invited to place an order in the VIP sale.
The selection criteria is used to narrow down the number of customers who will then be randomly invited to have a VIP sale appointment.:j2 years smoke free :j:eek: now to lose the extra 4 stone :eek:0 -

exactly. ive just given them a colourful repy quoting what they sale on their website. i even provided them with a link incase they cant find it
i dont mind it being random, and i dont mind not receiving a vip slot, i just disagree with them penalisng people who choose to be green. after all they promote being green.0
