    Just checked my receipt for my few purchases on saturday at my local store and notice their is an item on there i didnt purchase

    709 467 184 - black butterfly placemats ??? £5

    I dont know where this has come from as i never went to the home department nor buy any home items, i only bought 4 items of clothes. I know I should have looked at the time but have been very busy and only just unpacked the items. I read on here that several people have been charged for wrong items anyone advise what I can do, is it too late. I am fuming that I did not notice, cant see how she scanned in another item when i only bought 4 things.

  • I'd phone Next and explain, they should be willing to refund...for a start they should have extra stock, so it should be pretty easy to check. That's terrible, though, I hope they refund it for you!

    I'm very disappointed too. Most of what I wanted was 2-4 weeks, so I guess it'll probably not turn up, and the two things that did I really dislike. I can't even order a return as I don't have an account, so I'll have to pay to post it back...rubbish!

    Happened to me a while back. Got charged twice for a girls dress. did not notice as i had spent so much. Fuming when I got home. Nothing I could do - how can you prove it? I always check receipt now before leaving the store. Whilst your in the store at least you can question them!

    Good thing was on anothr occasion it seemed they hadnt charged me for an item! Guess it evened itself out eventually.

    Well I phoned next earlier to ask where the rest of my order is as they have taken money from my bank (not the full amount I spent) but I have only received one item. The girl sounded dopey as hell but was friendly enough I guess, said that everything is delayed and can't say when I will receive it but I will get an email when it is sent. I'm quite cross as almost everything I ordered said 'in stock' which was obviously not the case. No new clothes to wear for my weekend away now. :(

    Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of peoples orders are delayed like mine, it didn't sound like the first time she had that phonecall today.

  • If anyone ordered a sage green zebra t shirt in size 12, its turned up with my order. I haven't been charged for it & its not come instead of anything else so it will be going straight back. I guess the person who has ordered it is now going to dip out, as I bet it just goes into stock.

    Thanks for letting us know, I'm another one up about that time with my little baby so I managed to feed her and order a few baby clothes I'd missed out on at the same time!! Much appreciated.

    There were 3 pages of Girls 'sets' at 3 am and there are just 4 items left now so loads gets added and sold daily if you're still looking for a particular thing.

    Can't you take it back to your local store (althou if you're like me, then thats 30 miles away!!) 1 of my items that was on 2-4 week delivery has turned up, so fingers crossed that your items will turn up....eventually :)

    I have had a next account since the very first directory and i just thought i post that everything in the last few years that was on 2-4 weeks delivery has turned up!!! So for those who have ordered stuff on a 2-4 weeks delivery i am pretty sure it will turn up.

    So far I've had three sets of shelves, two sun dresses, 4 pink towels, 2 lots of curtains and been charged 3 delivery charges. Needless to say an email has been sent and unwanted goods returned. Shoes and rugs which were wanted not received. What are they doing?
