Went online this morning at 8am and waited 20 minutes to get on but managed to get bits that i really wanted like baby sleepsuits, a bag i've been eyeing up but didn't want to pay the full £65 for so got that for £25 this morning! Also got my dd a pair of shoes, a pair for myself and a couple of tops for the kids plus some nice underwear sets for myself! Total spend online £125! Just got back from town and it went so smoothly! No pushing and only had to line up for max 4mins to be serve at the tills! Spent £30 instore, would of been much more but had the kids with me! Very happy has the bits i got instore as they weren't online so more choices in store! :T

Forgot to add that two of my nine items said 'will be delivered in 2-4 weeks'. Better than being out of stock I guess.

My mum had warned me that lots of people were disappointed so I wasn't in a big rush. Got myself and DS down to the Bangor store around 11am. Wasn't too busy but the girls section had been ransacked. DD still did very well with a bag of clothes for her, DS (1 year old) has stuff to do him through 2011 and I may have got some stuff for the next bubs whenever that may be!

Got a bedset, floor standing lamp and a 2 tier dish rack in homewear and a shirt for DH. Nothing for me as usual but I get my kicks out of seeing the kids well dressed. All in all just shy of £300 spent. The girl on the till was surprised I was happy with the total but as I explained, I shop in Next twice a year and have the kids well dressed for half the price.

I still feel I should try another couple of stores to make sure I haven't missed anything! :rotfl:

Got to my local store for half 4 and was back home eating breakfast by 6.30, pretty disappointed, only spent about £80, can normally add a zero onto that when we get a vip slot. And I've been charged for something twice  eventhough I questioned it at the time, not much chance of getting that back.

That happened to me about 4 years ago - was charged twice for a girls dress - grrr.

Now I always add everything up before I get to the till so I can question the total.

The next year though they forgot to charge me for a bag - guess that compensated for being over charged before!!

This has happened to me at the Next sale, I just rang customer services and they told me to go to store and I would be refunded, i think they are aware mistakes can happen x
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

  • Why does the next sale always come a week before payday, lol...decided it was food shopping or Next this week - couldn't afford both :( haha!

Our nearest two Nexts are a bit on the small side though so i'm never overly satisfied like i used to be with the Croydon one...used to spend about £300 each sale there.

I so hope this is true: I just looked at my receipt and they've scanned one skirt in three times and missed other stuff off completely. I spent £113 in one out of 3 transactions and I'm not going to be able to bring barely any of it back if necessary!
