Oh heck, i feel like i'm on a confession site for addicted to Next sales!
Got to my local Next at 4.15am, was about 100 or so in front of me but nowhere near as bad as the boxing day sale last year. This store has a huge childrens dept so always gets busy as people tend to trek from all areas of the city.
Went straight to the baby section as i have 10 week old twin girls i needed to getting matching ages, quite alot of stock there so really pleased, then onto the younger childrens section for my 18 month old daughter again loads of stock first thing. Got some real beautiful stuff and for once after getting home i am still pleased with all the items. Once round i went and did a re-run and most of the baby stuff had gone just tiny baby left in most. Got home around 6.45am and went through the online stuff writing down the codes! (this was whilst feeding twins!) ordered in 2 lots as was worried things would go out of stock but again happy with everything.
So here goes (deep breath) my total in store was £362.50 and my online orders £123.00. Very pleased to say that i stayed within my £500 budget which has been being saved since jan! Kids wardrobes are crammed! Thanks Next!
hope everyone else did well :T0 -
Went online at 7.45..........top, jacket and dress I wanted all in stock, threw in a few impulse buys (not very MSE I know
but £165 of kit for £77 couldn't resist
)
Went through to check out and had the "obligatory" 15 min wait  watching an arrow circle round the next logo!!!!!! As everything stayed in stock and in my bag can't really complain.
Job done......... no getting up at stupid o'clock this year..............although there is a little bit of me thinking I should pop into town just to reassure myself there are no other bargins to be had!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:Debt Free Wannabe!!!

unpacked my first order and to be honest i was a little disappointed in some of the boys clothes, the material looked cheap and also they were so creased it was hard to imagine what it would look like on, so quite alot of mine has been repackaged for return, little disappointing but no point in keeping stuff i wouldnt use. Anyone else received their orders and been a little disappointed ?

been online, nothing for my 4 year old, glad really as have stacks from previous sales still not worn.
Ordered her some curtains as she is Zebra Mad , PLEASE if anyone has ordered the matching Zebra bedding and doesn't want it pls let me buy it from you and will pay and P&P. She's in a flood of tears at the moment as ordered Curtains but no bedding, at the worst could ask her nana to cut up a pair of the curtains and make her a cover .
OR if anyone is going instore and sees some for a single bed and gets it for me i would be eternally graateful

I went to our local store at 4am, managed to get close to the front of the queue, filled 2 bags with childrens clothes and payed and then went back for a 2nd lot as staff were re-stocking shelves, i ended up queuing for an hour to pay, spent almost 300.00 (way too much as i already spent a fortune with my VIP slot). Just unpacked everything and there were things i had forgot i picked up. Now i need to find somewhere to put it before my delivery from vip slot turns up. Do they deliver on sat? its showing up as 'out for delivery'.0

Hi I went online this morning about 9 ish and was able to order about £100 worth of stuff which I am very pleased about. No hic ups whatsoever, so can't wait for my order to arrive. My dh said one of the drivers in his place of work was driving to Belfast to do deliveries and Belfast was buzzing with women shoppers clutching loads of bags and there "must be a sale on somewhere, and glad I am not paying for any of it"
Maybe the poor man is and just doesn't know his other half is out there too:)
Do a little kindness every day.;)0 -
My VIP order arrived a couple of hours ago - so it may turn up today!
Really pleased with lots of the bits I ordered, lots for my little girl ready for next summer (3-4). I have a pile of returns, mainly mine (maternity) which always pleases me in a funny sort of way as I know they will bring my total bill down!! Some items I put in the code in twice?? In my blind panic during slot so will have some duplicate returns.
Hope that your VIP orders arrive soon!0 -
does anyone know, if i can return an item bought last week at the price i paid and than buy the same at the sale for half price or so ?
thanks0
