Double posts will happen as the site is slow loading and you press the submit button again thinking nothing is happening.

same problems with Google Chrome. Even loading this forum, the page was blank and showed as loading, had to refresh the link for it to connect.

Im sure there was a routine on the forums that is supposed to catch that though and stop duplicate posts :think:

I've just seen a duplicate post by myself (half an hour apart) and I defo didn't submit twice as it wasn't slow at the time. Lots of duplicate posts about.

Or at least was? I've had it flag up a message before.

its still in place
but the glitch isnt caught by it(well not all the time)

I'm getting exactly the same and seeing lots of double posts, there seems to be several new problems introduced to the site since it went off line for the critical update.

Hope they fix these issues PDQ.

Hi folks,

We're looking at the problem although it's not making alot of sense at the moment as we didn't actually make any changes on Friday, we were only looking at the validity of the backup database but had to shut down the whole system to do so.

Apologies for the problems, we'll try and sort it as soon as we can.

There at least was, but these are half hour, 20 mins apart, I think that is only set up for a few minutes.

I had one happen to me earlier, I didn't press submit twice or anything, it posted fine, and then I posted again while I don't think I was even on the thread. :undecided
