Hi again guys, I see mbradl01 is trying to frighten me as he/she did with some of the others in my position on this forum. Just been up to said car park and read the small print and it is worded in such a way that makes me think they actually have a case against me. I overstayed by 9 minutes and failed to comply with the stated maximum hour and half!!! This is how they get money out of the likes of me innit?
Shall I make a plane out of my letter and see how far it flies?:cool:0 -
A picture of the sign would be informative.
Do they even have sufficient rights to make the offer to treat ?0 -
I will get a pic up tomorrow afternoon Coblcris. Just read Martins article on this and believe it or not, although I am the registered owner of the car I was not driving it or a passenger in it when it was parked there, but I did drive it away. I think that gets me off with whatever they can throw at me. :-):cool:0

There is nothing to "get off" with as you have done nothing wrong.
Whatever you do - do not contact these people.0 -
My advice, if you're in the wrong, pay up, these guys have teeth and are taking people to court and winning ... on another note, this is a money saving website, not a get out of something when you've done wrong website! :money:
Here we go again !! Another PPC bedsitting dweller who is going absolutely nowhere in life.
Why don't you realise your scamming days are numbered if not over?
I personally love to get the word out and ticket cars with my own A4 leaflets letting people know about your scams. I do it to hundreds of cars parked in super market car parks and if just one person who has been ticketed does not pay, it will have been worth it. I bet there is at least one MSE person somewhere on these boards has had one stuck on their windscreen from me. Knowledge is power. That knowledge is expanding daily.
So come on then mbradle01, how much money is your company down on week after week? Please tell us.
In fact is there anyone who works or has worked for a PPC company prepared to tell us how much they are now not getting from people getting wise to their scam? I would love to know but i won't hold my breath.
Their days are numbered. This should have been outlawed from the start but just follow the money trail straight back to government coffers. Thing's won't change any time soon till the word of mouth and the internet gets the word out.0 -
In which case I would not be worried.I will get a pic up tomorrow afternoon Coblcris. Pictures of the sign would still be useful.0 -

They are breaking the DDA by limiting the disabled spaces to blue-badge holders. This is because they are discriminating against disabled people who do not have a blue badge.
Another error on that sign. They say that they will contact the DVLA to ascertain who the "motorist" was. Unfortunately for them, the DVLA will only say who the registered keeper is, not who was driving the car at the time. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
